Yes! For the foreseeable future I’m only using DTF. I have tested the quality from a few companies & this transfer type suits my needs, gives the quality I’m looking for & is sustainable for my solo business for the time being.
🔥🔥🔥 I have a background in retail management so this was what we used in the store! I like the new contraptions they have out like the big folding boards, but in limited on space so I took it old school. 💪🏾😂
Congrats on your clothing line!!! I tried launching on black friday, but I had too many obstacles in the way. I'm hoping to get my transfers next friday, and to be ready for a release in Jan.
Thank you! 🙏🏾💜 & please follow thru with it… I love seeing us small entrepreneurs get that work! 💪🏾feel free to tag me bypeacejewel when you get going!
👋🏾 I definitely want to! I have to get things set up in my back end but I can probably set something up offline for you via PayPal. DM me that way I can get the shipping costs and we can go from there 💜🫶🏽
No I don’t. It can definitely be useful to start, but it’s very hard to scale. I had a circuit I used years ago for my old business when I was making soaps and candles.I used it to make the vinyl that I decorated my containers, stickers.etc. But as my business grew and I started getting a certain volume of orders consistently, it was no longer sustainable time wise. So I outsourced with a company to make those things! I sample suppliers a lot and I’d never use something to produce my garments no matter how cost effective if it wasn’t quality. But to start making samples and for small quantity orders you can definitely get started with a Cricut and use vinyl transfers!
I design them and print them along with my transfers. These are also dtf (direct to film), so able to be applied by heat just the same as the transfers!
Congratulations on your new apparel line and business! I am in the beginning stages as well and plan to launch after the first of the year. Have been looking for a acrylic T-shirt guide/measure. The one you use looks pretty durable. Would you mind sharing where you obtained it? Again, I wish you so much success. Peace and blessings!
Thank you so much! I’ll have a lot more videos on my journey for sure. I’m loving the process. Best of luck & blessings of prosperity over your new venture also! 🙏🏾💜 The link to the ruler is in the description in case this link doesn’t show up properly: amzn.to/48jwI63 And it is very durable. Has a nice weight to it. I am actually looking into getting a t square one to help a bit more with my hooded shirts. But the one I use in the video (linked above) is perfect for t-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts!
I use DTF. IMO Vinyl is cool for sampling, but dtf quality is better for the longevity! Trust, I have an athlete son and we go through crazy laundry. These have held up 😅🤣💜
Congrats Sis❤ had a bit set back because I didn’t have any knowledge of graphic designs when it came to sizing my transfers to place the orders. I am starting Kittl, Inkscape, AffinityDesgner it’s a lot but Loving the experience...Question: Heat press, i see you opening and closing, is any Tefllon needed or was a Platen Wrap Cover used?
Thanks so much Sis! 🙏🏾💜 Yes the graphic design and sizing can be a challenge at times, definitely stick with it; I still make adjustments sometimes as I go! 😅 I use Canva, Kittle and Photoshop & starting to play around with procreate on my iPad… As far as my heat press, this one actually came with a teflon wrap built onto the platen; but I do have separate teflon sheets that I can use…and do occasionally. Sometimes I get a lot of static on the garments and the transfers may lift and stick to the top platen and lift prematurely when I release it. I notice it happens more with certain garments & if I don’t pre-press the garment before pressing the transfer.
I always had dreams of having a clothing line...it's finally time! This is only the beginning. Who else in here is following a dream? 💜✨
hi, thank you for the video. Is the design DTF? I could not understand what it is

🔥🔥🔥 I have a background in retail management so this was what we used in the store! I like the new contraptions they have out like the big folding boards, but in limited on space so I took it old school. 💪🏾😂

Awesome 😊. Do u use a cricut as well for ur design. Would love to have a business like that!!

Great quality prints !Where did you purchase your dtf sheets from ?
I have a small printer local to me in NYC (same day turnover) but I have ordered from SupaColor and Ninja Transfers in past and they are just as good!
Amazing!Gois lyck to your biz.
Could you makw a video about the tools you use, and how you create printed shirt.
Yes, soon…Thank you!
Congratulations, I wish you lots of success. How did you make your own tags for the sweat shirt?
I design them and print them along with my transfers. These are also dtf (direct to film), so able to be applied by heat just the same as the transfers!
The people that are launching. Are yall doing print on demand or in house production. Im undecided on mine

How much you think it cost to get started up
I’m putting together a video on that now. It should be posted Monday. I can only speak for how I got started but I will include pricing!
Is that vinyl or dtf?
I use DTF. IMO Vinyl is cool for sampling, but dtf quality is better for the longevity! Trust, I have an athlete son and we go through crazy laundry. These have held up 😅🤣💜
What size from is that
Are you asking the size of shirt? 😆
