Hello, new to your channel. Love what Im seeing. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I'll certainly be looking at my trash differently. It's fun going through the process with you. 😊
I really enjoy your take on Trash journals. They aren’t my favorite type of journal, but I really like the way you clean up the pages. I’m a new subbie and was surprised to see you do a trash journal. You’re work is pristine and well crafted. Nice to see you delve into the trash with us, per say. 😁 ~~Liz
Hi Liz - thanks so much for watching and commenting and for the sub. I do enjoy making journals from materials I recycle and used a wider range here than I would normally use. Thanks for your kind comments :)
thank you for the video . it is inspiring . i wanted to ask which glue is recommended for food packaging made of plastic such as the blue one which you used for a pocket . i have lots of Tilda and Daawat ( indian rice) plastic packages which have great colors but i havenbeen able to glue them . thanks ahead ophra Israel
Hello :) Many thanks for watching and for your kind comment. I also have a video where I am working in this journal and I checked that out to see what I used in that to stick things down - so in this video here I used a tape runner to stick the blue pocket in place. In the other video I refer to I used a fluid matte medium to stick a crisp (potato chip) packet down and so far that has held well but matte medium is quite expensive to use as a glue. I think a strong double sided tape or a strong glue such as Aleene's Tacky Glue might work best. Hope this helps :)
This isn't helping my trash pile now because I'm thinking of all the packaging I'm throwing lol. Also makes me realise just how much we can make use of it all and how much is produced every day. Much better to make something fun out of it all. I didn't realise plastic would stick so well as I've thrown some pretty plastic bags away. I've sewn pockets with them before but that means getting the machine out, not that I mind sometimes, but I much prefer this kind of method where you get quick results. How much fun is this x
Lots of good stuff - absolutely love the recycling aspect!

Oh dear Julie! It's a dreadful place to be where you see potential in just about every piece of packaging etc ;) xo
🙂👍🏻
Thank you Shelley :)
