Good video. Just remember, any video were theres over head lighting make sure the light doesnt obstruck the meter screen!
not that it needs a lot of explanation but i must have missed the continuity test part in addition to gfi. the leads hook on the back so you can use it to hold the leads during testing - one or both - gives you a free hand
Thanks for your video The tester mesures voltage not current. either for AC or DC power sources.
It also can tell you if there is continuity in a wire or between two wires in a circuit. You can test if an incandescent light bulb is good or it is burned down. You test an electric motor winding for continuity too😊
Thank you, I appreciate the comment and FYI. It was one of my first videos so I fumbled a little through it. Consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribing!
you totally skipped how the gfci testing part works????
Im in the market for a new one thanks for sharing also so good videos on your channel i just subscribed.
Thanks for commenting and thanks for subscribing!
I think it's a best review of Klein tool tester. Thanks!
On the battery test, it is a 1.5 volt battery. Yes is round up the Volts to 2 as no decimal on the screen as shown. You referenced "Amps" instead of "Volts, DC"
Thank you for that, it was one of the first videos I made and I’m still learning, but I appreciate the feedback really helps! consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribing!
Can I use this tool to test for shorts on a power cord?
So it tests continuity, but how about impedance?
What about continuity tester? Do I need to select special mode, or just touch a wires? And what I will see on display?
That’s exactly what I was looking for.
Apparently you only have to touch the two together and you’ll get and audible beep…but I’m sure you’ve figured that out in the 4 months since this comment.
This is the most annoying question I get working at a retailer. Everybody is always looking for “continuity testers” and tell me we don’t have any. I then point to the hundreds of products on the shelf that read resistance and explain there is your continuity tester…
It's alternating current not alternate current
That’s awesome, thank you for catching that, I really appreciate it. I also appreciate you commenting, consider subscribing and giving me a thumbs up!
Plug in the negative (black) first!
I appreciate the feedback and will definitely do that going forward! Thank you for watching the video and consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribing.
Only Whole number... 😔
d battery; 1.5 Amps 😹😹😹
Thanks commenting and watching!
1.5 volts
lol 🤣
Right, you've never made a mistake in your life, I'm sure.

Its not reading amps sorry that you keep saying amps.
Battery leaking- throw it away
Great video thank you for sharing!😊
Thanks for watching! One of my first. Consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribing.
