I honestly prefer him playing alone against random players than with people he knows, aka the other Jamboree stream. I honestly found the commentary to be too chaotic for my liking 😅
I'm in the same boat...I watch RT because I enjoy him and there's a reason I don't watch other streamers - the stereotypical loudness and chaos and sense of humor is not something I enjoy.
It definitely depends on who RT is playing with for me. I enjoy Ms Cupcake and Toasty for example. But I skip every video where he plays with the lads. Those sessions always get way too chaotic and I don’t like the way the lads joke with RT.
You know I was thinking I usually like the coordinated group streams more myself... But watching the second Jamboree stream that just came out changed my opinion on that a bit. Playful banter is a grand ol' time of course but Mario Party somehow always turns into everyone shouting randomly and ganging up on one person while somebody else runs away with the game.
In theory I like watching Dan live but his stream schedule just lines up terribly for me it's either 8-9am on the weekend and I am almost never up that early or he goes live at noon during the weekdays when I'm incredibly busy most of the time in theory I can watch his weekday streams in practice I have a bunch of stuff I need to be focusing on and watching a stream is just to much
I think for a lot of us this is the default assumption in any online game lobby. :p (especially when you’re old enough to view a wider group as ‘children’)
