Great compilation of good advice. May I just add some other relaxation techniques such as: mindfulness body scan, exercises for calming down the vagus nerve, cold water, working on your gratitude... These have worked wonders for me together with yoga, grey / white sound audios, swimming, sharing experiences in specialised channels and having a good night's sleep.( I was on benzodiazepins for over a year as my anxiety was far too high and even affected my stomach badly. I reduced intake very progressively to not taking any). Every person is different and has to find out what works for him or her. There are many tools and support strategies to hang onto If I could go back to that ENT doctor who told me: "there's nothing you can do, so don't think about it" I would tell her how wrong she was 🤩 Thanks a lot for your channel, Dr. Ben. I am a great fan from Bilbao, Spain 😎
I was already habituate to it, but after some loud music In the pub, Im in hell again, T is on 10 sometimes. After 18 if this getting worst again is such a drag
I've stopped using my sonic toothbrush which has definitely reduced my tinnitus. I refuse to visit a dental hygienist for the same reason. Their equipment always causes me trouble as well as giving me headaches, and on one occasion, 3 months of trigeminal neuralgia, the most painful experience of my life.
Kindly tell me I have a joke in my left eardrum and tinnitus problem and I will have a aeroplane journey so what can I do to protect my ears to save my plane journey.give me some best advice I have also sinusitis problem I am waiting for the answer.plz help me
Hi Shufti, you asked some good personalized questions here. My answer depends on more information that I do not yet know about your history. Feel free to contact our team at Treble Health and we can do our best to help you.
Epilepsy pathophysiology was established in 1849 and first treated in 1912. People will look back at 2023 tinnitus 'management' as a medieval neanderthal time in medicine, with laughing fits (learn to live with it/CBT/put sound on) of delirium. Remember in the 5th Century Hippocrates in Greece hypothesized that the brain might be the root cause of epilepsy. In 2023 you will get the same from most audiologists and ENTs. The difference being a modern suit and a shiny leaflet handed to you. Are we worthy of banding the word 'professional' given we have not advanced in this area since the 5th Century in the way other medical conditions are understood and treated?

Some people say always use ear protection Inc for Hyperacusis, and some say don't use hearing protection and just sound therapy. Which is it?
