Little is known about the east african slave trade. It is widely known that most slaves come from west. when portuguese came, they began shipping out our brothers and sisters in the name of Slaves to Brazil from east africa back in 15th centuary.
During slave trade, its estimated that those africans who made it to the west alive were 12 to 13 million people representing about 40% of total slaves taken from Africa. Can you imagin by 14th centuary removing over 13 million people from their homeland, what was left? thats a huge number
to this day colonial masters refuse to aknowledge that African continent was ruined by slavery, the best of working force, the custodian of knowledge (15 to 30 years old were the most energetic groups and as per the african customs, the were the custodian, and backborn of the society and they were the ones taken away).
Black people all over the world wherever they are staying, are the most welcoming people, the most forgiving and the most hard working individual who are highly exploited. The only asset we are remaining with is unity. unity unity, unity brothers and sisters

I am about to unsubscribe because I am not interested in videos that seek to promote European so called superiority. I am really disappointed with the way you presented the Portuguese. The Portuguese not only raped and killed many of your ancestors but they continue to depict Africans as less than humans.
Shame on you for promoting them. Once again I am very disappointed with your video.

a fort sometimes also a prison for slaves on the journey, it is places like this that many people were taken from Africa, religion and tradition ,two things that man they call Jesus warned about. that name came from a famous man who the Catholic church made a deal with to make him famous, Emmanuel is the name of the son of man/ son of God

I am happy that you had a wonderful time. Thank you for the view of historic Mombasa. I never knew that the Portegise (SP) were the first europeans in what is Kenya. If those buildings and the fort could talk I wonder what stories they would tell.

As Salaamu Alaikum!! I want to thank you for showing us Fort Jesus in Mombasa Kenya. Although my first trip to the Continent of Mother Africa 25 yrs ago was into Morocco. My first visit to Kenya was Was 17 yrs ago in 2005, and while in the Grand Masjid in Nairobi talking to people after the Jumu'a (Friday prayer service) my wife said to me, " you be talking to people like you know them". and I responded; "I do know them". I knew from my interaction with the people in Kenya that more of our people in the West were brought from East Africa during the Transatlantic Slave Trade than we are being told. I can truly say that whether from East or West Africa you can be sure that many of us have ancestral roots in East Africa as well as the West. Thanks again, and Peace!!

Carlos Romero, Esther still serves her community and the poor of her village. God has Blessed 🙌 Esther with a College Degree and $Personal Funds from people like myself. Esther was in college, and just recently graduated in May of this year, 2022. She has a right to enjoy her own life and experience the Beautiful Continent of Africa 🌍. Have you $contributed to the poor of Esther's Village Community? If not, WHY haven't you? WHAT have you done for your own community? In other words "SHUT THE HELL UP" and STAY OUT OF BLACK PEOPLE'S BUSINESSES, YOU IMBECILE!

Young lady, thank you. Your depiction of your life in Africa as a whole is passionate and highly informative. Especially for Black Americans, because we were never taught about African in our educational system. Anything we learn was on T.V. and very negative. And on the other hand, with the rise of the internet, and the abundance of information, some Black Americans have went too fare with wrong information. Please keep up the great work Sherman from America.
