The other series I liked was GoGo-Five / Lightspeed Rescue, but I didn't end up getting anything from that era. I don't think my folks were too keen on gifting me stuff from Sentai, as they thought it was stupid. Ah well.

I understand Sentai's early days had just one vehicle that transformed into a mech. But as an American kid who was used to each ranger getting their own piece of a combined mech, the Megaship was so jarring to me. Hell, for a long time I considered Mega Voyager the space team's true megazord.
As much as I love Galaxy Mega, I've always found funny his head. Like of course it makes sense, but the shape of it looks like Galaxy Mega went to a Space museum and they gave him a little shuttle hat haha

Was there ever a time you were bored and decided to re recreate fight scenes or make your own with your super sentai/power rangers mecha? Cause at the end of the day these are toys and toys are meant to be played with not sit around on a display shelf all day collecting dusk so it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I’m a grown man and I still play with toys.

I would've made the same connection too. They eventually DID an full fledged Space Sentai (Kyuranger). Me personally, not a fan
