    Ceramic tint would let you block all the heat without darkening it at all.

    I put straight vodka in the wiper fluid bottle. Nice aroma in the cad. Dip into it for a refreshing drink. Keeps windows clean. Cheers

    I've got the exact same machine with 86hr now, high flow, cab, wide tracks. Love it, I was going to get the 75, and got the 65 because it was going to take 3 months. Very happy I went with it, good power, runs the same buckets and attachments no problem. My windshield wiper container leaks too, that and when you hit the 2 speed while driving its really abrupt, those are really my only 2 negatives about it.

      I’m new to these machines. What does high flow mean? Does it mean power to your attachments??

    • @olddodger7178

      @@ZR1Terror It means more gallons per minute of flow for the hydraulics for implements that require it.

      Does the 65 have enough power to drive postholes in rocky terrain? Assuming hydraulic auger with a rock tip?

    I have the 75-2 love it. I have almost the same complaints about it except my washer bottle didn't leak. Great machine. A little loud but whatever.

    Nice I’ve been wanting to tent my windows for a while now looks good The air blows cooler at the top point because it is before the heater core trust me I’ve taken mine apart dozens of times because the filters inside are trash

      Man. That drives me crazy sometimes. I’ll have cool air blowing across my neck. I just close it for cool weather. It gets plenty hot in there.

    I have the same tracks on my SVL75-2 and I predict that you will love them for winter use.
    These tracks will out push a rubber tire machine (without chains).

    There’s a button you mash on the ac control that will turn the cool air off and mash it again to turn it on

  • @92174164
    @92174164 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Oof, personally I would never tint a machine .. Sometimes you need to signal others... A friend of mine tinted an excavator, tint was removed the next day.

  • @rontopping2048
    @rontopping2048 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    They need to rethink the interior of cab , radio is behind you , heater and ac control under safety bar, no overhead vents. Vents only on one side. I guess this is the sacrifice with overheat door.

  • @denniscooper6328

    Thanks for the video. Was the tint just for looks or does it serve a purpose?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it gives you allot of heat rejection in the cab. Helps ac keep up. I do it to all my machines.

  • @geoffgeoff3333

    Can't pick a pallet of stone off a Mason flatbed...must remove top course of blocks prior to picking.
    The switches are not placed intuitively nor ergonomically placsd like the SSV (tire skidsteer) which has all switches placed vertically on either side of the door (so they stay clean, too).

    Does the 65 have enough power with a hydraulic auger attachment to dig post holes through layers of rock?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  ปีที่แล้ว

      Rock is always hard to gauge. But I think it would do just fine with the right auger set up. There is a difference in them. Id assume you are using a rock bit.

      What size tracks are you running?

  • @dangerds1
    @dangerds1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    if running a trenching attachment 80% of the time , is it worth paying more money for the Kubota 75SVL over the 65SVL ?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man. Trencher on a skid is a tough one. Some trenchers run really good on skids and some don’t. Then you have to have the right chain on it to work right. I would think if you got the machine like my 65 that is high flow it might run it a little better. I think that would put you at the top of the scale on a low flow machine.
      If you do allot of trenching I’d probably get a good size dedicated trencher. Like a ditch witch rt45.

    • @ThatcherKSA
      @ThatcherKSA 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      At high flow the 75 and 65 both push 27gpm, if you get the loaded 65 your going to be saving about $7k. Tough to say if your running a hyd attachment most of the time. If you were talking about mowers, you might wanna look at the 75 just due to the weight capacity carrying a 1800lb boat around. If the trencher is decently light you could probably run it.

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really don’t think so but that my opinion. Skids don’t run a trencher really hard anyways. They have so much traction even big skids will stop the trencher. The hydraulic horsepower on the two machines are almost the same. So I’d save the weight and money. I like the hybrid drive in the 65.

    • @solrus20
      @solrus20 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Svl95 will be way better for trenching and all hi flow attachments

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. I have a buddy that bought the same machine and he hasn’t had any problems. Then another guy I know has had a wheel 75 and he hasn’t said anything. I think it’s the only machine I’ve had in awhile that when I wash it and spray it off with a hose the cab doesn’t leak on the floor.

    Do you have a recommendation between these two machines?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We had an ASV RT75hd and it was a great machine for getting into the wet areas but visibility was bad and it was hard to grade in. The ASV is really tall because of the undercarriage. Honestly I’d go with the Kubota 65 or a Deere 317g. I really like the Kubota.
