I have rented an SVL-65. I then bought a 2013 Takeuchi TL-230. I hired a company to do some fire clearing. They ran a 2018 Kubota SVL-75. When running them head to head up hill the Takeuchi out pulled the SVL-75 up hill. As it turns out, my TL230 has a lot more traction power than the SVL 75. I would highly recommend looking at Takeuchi skid loaders as they have the same slide up door operation as Kubota. Just my experience and two cents. I hope it helps.

The SVL65 is so under rated by those looking for a track loader . You will really really really like what the SVL65 can do . Enjoy and look forward to your reviews .

I’m a die hard Deere fan. I have a 325g and it is simply the best track loader I’ve ever ran. But it doesn’t matter what brand you like as long as it makes you money and stays reliable that’s what’s most important. I hope it does you well and makes you money!

Yesss kubotas of life. I can’t wait to watch but right now I’m celebrating my brothers birthday. Guess who applied the G&M outdoors the brother and sister that where on your channel a year ago, but turns out they are hiring for full time workers right now but since I have school I can’t work full time till the summer but if G&M sees this “I will do anything and time anywhere”. Hopefully I get hired to run equipment or hard labor.
I had a phone interview with Garret after school and he said he has to talk to his sister but hopefully I will get hired. Sorry for the ramble but have a good week.

I think the 65 is a little undersized. I ran a 75 for hundreds of hours this winter and loved it! May save some space in tight areas but I think the 75 is worth it. Over head doors rock! It’s great to keep it open! I ran the same loader also doing snow removal! Great machine! Great machines!

    Dude!
The SVL 65 is incredible. Just got our brand new 97 today transitioning from 20 hours on the little 65. Simple, strong, and great for skilled operators as its still hydraulic over hydraulic. Avoid unnecessary computerization at all costs I say. AI is not necessarily our friend.
The 75 can only lift 200lbs more and the cost difference doesn't merit the potential loss in fuel efficiency.

Any update on it? Currently debating it or the 75-3. Can the 65 run a heavy duty brunch hog? 48” disc? If you have ran one. And how does it do on hills while running an implement

    • @ThatcherKSA
      @ThatcherKSA หลายเดือนก่อน

@@dc7061 I’ve had it for 5 years and 400 hours, it works pretty good, it handles a 74in bucket through all material types with power to spare, grappling material it gets the job done and has the power but sometimes is a little tippy loading dumpsters and navigating. I’ve got a low flow mower for it and it is effective with that as well. For full time or lot of mulching and high flow you might consider something a little heavier so it’s got the counter weight. If you’re gonna mulch sometimes it’ll get it done. I had a faulty set of injectors that was covered for free that made it run poorly was the only significant issue I had with it.

When the company I am with was deciding between a cat 249 and 259 we were concerned about the difference in ground pressure however we found the power and capability of the slightly bigger machine including lifting abilities such as dumping height and weight lifting greatly made up on the grass you may have to remediate after a job which you would likely have to do regardless of machine size especially in such a close together classes of equipment.. If you are that worried about disturbing the ground I believe an asv style track system would be the way to go rather than sacrificing the power of a machine size which as you said is the most ideal size of skid for what you guys do and most small-mid size landscaping companies require. I would go with the 75 however the few days I've spent running a kubota skid it definitely would not be my first brand choice in this class of skid, but I am not the one making the payments lol.

Looks like a nice machine. I really like Kubota and I believe there's another maker that makes the doors like that. I just wish Kubota would go with the trend and make one of their track models on a light frame. For what we are going to be doing on our property and maybe some side jobs, we just need the small frames like a bobcat t450. We have an older Kubota tractor that's almost 40 years old and picked it up used and it performs well for what we need it to do.

Good info. ive researched myself for purchase . the added half ton weight goes to ballast and stability to carry and when off grade. Also, that 75 has just over 1600lbs greater breakout force which is massive in comparison. The additional capacity & traction force is what has be leaning towards the 75 personally. The ground pressure between the two is 4.2 vs 4.9 for the 75. The 75 has some additional ground clearance of 2.6 inches plus greater lift capacity as well as over 1600lbs greater breakout. Over 1200lb/ft greater traction force on the 75 and the track length contract on ground difference is only 1.4inches longer track on the 65 despite how it visually seems in this video.
One thing I saw on many other vidoes is stating how the 65 entered the market by fitting on a 10k trailer for towing is not actually accurate. Unless there is some magical 10k trailer that weights under 1500lbs which doesn't exist. Also the stated weights of these, and all machines, are less attachments so even the 700lbs or so bucket adds to that factory stated weight.
I have to say the sales rep you have in the video is one hell of a good one, analyzing what fits you needs vs trying to upsell the more expensive choice. Shame everyone everywhere isn't that fair and thorough.

I demoed the case tv450 and the svl95 before I bought the 450 because the dealer brought out a kubota with almost 2k hrs on it and it broke during the demo and they just said sorry and took the machine back. That was the perfect you are buying the dealer situation.
Few months later was ready to buy another ctl and found out the svl95 is the only machine in kubotas line up that can load a semi. Which wasn’t useful for what I was looking to do. Looking for a 75hp machine that can load a semi. Ended up buying the case tv370 their brand new all the bells and whistles latest and greatest 4 months ago.
Mind you I own 3 of the ssv75 wheel machines from kubota that I bought from the dealer that brought me the bad demo.
Curious to see what you think of the machine. Because I do like them just couldn’t believe the service I got from the dealer that I bought three machines from so they lost out on three more..
