    Lorelai's outburst didn't come out of nowhere.
    After months of Luke ignoring Lorelei & not including her in his life (with April) then calling off the wedding, Lorelei was upset.
    Plus, Luke at this point still never even introduced her to April. All he does for the first 2/3 of this episode is whine & tear down Logan who is actually trying to connect with him. Then after saying he's committed to Lorelei he can't even commit to a proper wedding or even tries to introduce her to his daughter. It's messed up.

    • @shelldie8523
      @shelldie8523 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How is this fair? When she asked for things to be right between her and Rory Luke waited. Patiently. When he asked for time with April lor give him ultimatums... How's about a little equality here?

    • @cassie1560
      @cassie1560 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@shelldie8523 you don't act like that in a partnership. NONE of that is okay and it is not how adults behave. Asking for a little time does not mean months and especially if she is supposed to become April's stepmother. Lorelai did nothing wrong here at all. She did other things wrong in lying and bad communication overall, but this is on Luke entirely.

    • @plumdutchess
      @plumdutchess 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cassie1560 I mean, shelldie8523 has a point. I always hated how Luke handled the April/Lorelai thing. But, he had to endure a lot from Lorelai. She has been back and forth and he waited. Luke is someone who is used to order and the April thing knocked him off his hinges. I'ts not out of character for him to act like this and want to deal with it for himself until he's used to it. Bad in a relationship? Sure. But that is how he is. If she can't handle it, they're not compatible. Saying "this is not how adults should act" presumes that every person is the same and is able to hanle things similarly. That's just not how life works.

    • @m3ntyb
      @m3ntyb 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Luke has already met Rory. It makes it seem more like he doesn't want April to get attached to someone who might not be there, in his case. The reasoning he does finally give makes a lot of sense though. @@shelldie8523

      @@plumdutchess "endure" ?? He needed over a decade to tell her how he felt and even then he could barely do it. I get the point, I just don' agree with it at all. And NO, it doesn't mean that everyone is the same, but Luke is not a teenager, he is an adult and he handled things wrong. All the way. From lying and not talking for MONTHS about his daughter, even though he was engaged and planned to spend the rest of his life with her, to just go and buy a house without telling her. You can simply not marry a person who doesn't communicate the most important things to you is what I am saying. There was no back and forth with Lorelai. He knew what he was in for, it just took him forever to come around and then he chickened out comletely and there is no excuse for it.

    • @jydakota95
      @jydakota95 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I suppose that depends what they mean when they say it. Id say that typically quirks are oddities but not necessarily problems where as Kinks are usually viewed as something that needs to be fixed hence the phrase “some kinks to work out”. Logan saying it’s a grandma so it has some kinks, to me, means that things in the house aren’t as intended anymore because of age, they’re broken or not functioning properly like the example of the hard wood buckling, that’s something they could and probably will at some point repair. Rory say’s peculiarities which is closer to a quirk in my opinion and perfectly describes the raccoon situation it’s a funny little oddity specific to this house but not necessarily something broken.
      Logan definitely says kink and it’s odd phrasing but still makes sense.
