I think in this case the sound box could well be Swiss made. The fake soundboxes are clearly clones (not 100% the same) of this Swiss design, but marked HMV which was never the case. I have examples of both the fake soundboxes and one marked Swiss made like this, and the Swiss made one is a much better built unit. The horn and back bracket is clearly fake. The motor looks to be a Garrard No.30 and the platter could be real too, both taken from an old portable. Winding handle looks HMV style and is clearly too long for the case. Just my views.
This phonograph is as reproduction as Biden is stupid they never had that crease in the horn the box is much too big the horn brace is much too flimsy as well as the tone arm
@@truecamera4757 You can see from many tricks, the engine is of a 1940s suitcase. The horn is made of sheet metal and not brass, this gramophone is not in the HMV catalogs. I have been collecting them for more than 10 years, I know how to distinguish them
