    I got the whole recipe except the temperature to bake the bread at, and for how long. Did anyone catch that part?

    I appreciate that you showed how to do this with the quick cooker - I didn't see the recipe anywhere. Do you have a website with the recipe?

    I like 👍 how simple u explained this method of salt rising bread I definitely will give it a try ,we are living in serious times and one can never know thar that the things we are accustomed to that might become scarce so thank you for sharing, God bless you

      I agree florence. I can remember my aunts talking about the great depression times. They were in their youth to young adults during that time. Not sure how bad it is going to get but I am well stocked on beans and rice and flour and sugar and have a 1.5 acre garden and plan to do much canning again this year

    So funny! I just made salt rising bread for the first time, and a half hour ago I posted that the texture is like angel food.

    your baking soda just before making the dough stage is what I was looking for;; It boosts the rise. only thing I did different added 1tsp baking soda and used milk for texture . resullts a dome tiop and a soft texture ;; Thanks
