You can study yes, no problem, but you will have to return back to your country as you won’t be eligible for 485 visa

I got a serious question. I lodged my file on 23 may, last updated was 25 may and my medical approved was done on 31 may. I am gonna pursue master of computing major computer science in curtin University
I am still waiting for my student visa... thing is, some people getting their visa in 15 days some, 4 days or auto granted is that even possible and if yes why others taking so long given the fact my all documents are correct and legal and my sole purpose coming to Australia is for education only 😅. I already deferred my intake from feb to july, now maybe i will have to defer it again 😢
Average processing time is between 14 days and 4 months. It’s clearly mentioned on the home affairs website

After graduation if need to do masters, students has to exit and return in new visa ? Or they can continue there and apply for post graduation ?
You can apply for a different visa i.e TR but not the same visa

It takes between 2-6 months for visa to come so no guarantee about the timeline. You should defer your course.

Applied on feb 11 2024 but visa nhi aaya...now for july intake classes start from 22 th july in QUT BRISBANE...any chances of visa grant before commencement of classes... please reply Iam really worried

You applied late. Standard visa processing time is approximately 4 months

The waiting time varies from 1-4 months on average. More during peak intake season

I urge everyone to apply to only level 1 and G8 universities. Australia doesn’t want international students at the moment so people who are financially stable and have good academics should only apply.

The TR laws do not affect Indian students due to the mutual recognition trade agreement between 🇮🇳 and 🇦🇺

New 485 conditions do not apply to Indian students.
Indians are still getting 3 year TR instead of 2 because of the trade agreement, but the extension of TR is not possible for all nationalities including Indians. Read in detail first
