These are by far the most useful tool when it comes to cleaning your pens. If cleaning your pen always seems tedious to you, you need to get these ASAP. I personally attached mine to a higher capacity syringe, and was able to clean out a nib unit in well under a minute. Then use a blunt needle to flush out your converter and you're done. Can get an entire pen done in under 2 minutes, shaves so much time off a cleaning session. This is a tool that every fountain pen user need to have in their cleaning kit.
This is a wonderful innovation! I'll be trying to get my hands on each one that I need as they become available (curse you, proprietary converter systems)!
I’m going to be buying all of these luer lock adapters. Other brands we’d like them for here in my household: Sailor, Lamy, Pilot, Kaweco, Benu, Conklin, Diplomat, Franklin Christoph, Leonardo, Montegrappa, Narwhal, & Platinum. (I’m assuming the Jowo & Bock ones will work for some of those but listing them all just in case.) Another thing I’d love to see would be reusable/refillable cartridges with caps for the Pocket 6 similar to the Noodler’s 308 cartridges.
This fantastic, Ian & Team! Two questions, now that I’ve seen how specific these tolerances are: 1 - Any way to tell them apart - are they labeled Jowo/Pilot etc? 2 - The Sailor is designed on the 1911 - does it work for ProGear too?
@@bodhitoro I don't have any Sailor pens, but I have the Pilot tool and it says it is designed on the Vanishing Point, but it works with all of my Pilot cartridge/converter pens I have tried it with so far. So I imagine it should work with the Pro Gear without issue.
The site states that the Pilot version is for the Vanishing point, will it fit other Pilots like the Custom 912? Also is the Lamy going to be tooled for the 2000 or just the safari sizes? Great idea, perfect execution Ian!
Might work for others but I haven’t tested it fully since I don’t own all those pens :) Lamy will be the converter sized one. 2000 has its own filling mechanism
@@Schon_DSGN I just tried it yesterday. Works for Pilot Custom 74. I suspect it will work for the majority of the Pilot pens, because they all use the same converter.
It could be moldy. sometimes pens develop some funky funk depending on the situation. Better to keep it as clean as you can so you don’t waste the whole bottle :)
@@charmie._0 sort of yes! This is more ergonomic (pull and push instead of twist) and allows you to flush faster with less strain. The converter really never expels 100% of the ink so it’s best to clean those at the end with a dull syringe. Once you do that you’ll know what I mean ;)

I love the Jowo and Pilot adapters. I'm (impatiently) waiting for the Bock, LAMY and Platinum adapters. 😊
just posted them for sale!
@@Schon_DSGN Thanks!

Great feedback! I’ll keep making the rest of the sizes and we’ll see what I make after that re:cartridges 🤝

@@bodhitoro good questions. Yes they are labeled. The sailor works for 1911 and I’ll be making another one for the King of Pen.

What about for Vanishing Point?
I am super amped about this as it addresses exactly my biggest problem with regularly using my fountain pens/
The pilot one we sell is designed for the vanishing point :) it works great

Is there any reason why you wouldn't release the ink remaining in the converter before cleaning it back into the bottle it came from?

Do you release for Schmidt nibs?
yes, use the "bock" size :)
Can't we just use the coverter to clean the nib?
