In 1974 I traveled with my parents from Toronto to Edmonton by train. (Toronto & Union Station had so many roles in Silver Streak) As a newly licensed driver in early 1977, Silver Streak was my first "date" movie and holds a special place in my heart.
0:53 - Lethbridge Viaduct I've been there and 0:58 - Okotoks, AB (CP Aldersyde Subdivison) where George caught the train I was also there and have rode a train on that same trackage
Thank you so much for this video. I love the movie Silver Streak with its cast but I honestly love the scenes of the train itself even more, they are dynamic and well shot.

A couple of shots of the Silver Streak were not seen in the film, atleast I don't remember seeing them in the film. How did you obtain them?
This is the film as presented - I didn't add anything
@@shettrick interesting. Then again it's been awhile since I last watched the film. I will check it out again. Thanks for the reply.
@@RailroadEngineer123 Sure. I just took these highlights from the Blu-ray disc of the movie
@@shettrick didn't know there was a blu-ray version, I'll have to look into that.
