The main reason I feel bad for Rebekah is because she really is a good person deep down and tries so hard to prove it but no one gives her a chance. Also because her whole life she never got to live the way she wanted too. Either having to deal with her parents who forced her to turn to a vampire, and then klaus who never let her find love. Also how people repeatedly betray her for literally no reason and keep on using her loneliness and lack of love to their advantage. Not only did a lot of her family members die but literally her own parents tried to kill her, her brother put a dagger in her heart, kol and Finn tried to kill her and Elijah always puts klaus first. She basically got a family who cared about everything but her happiness. Plus she spent centuries running from her father , dealing with her brothers and basically never being free. The most thing though that makes me feel for her, is how hard she loved. In all her relationships it was always her putting the effort and love, like she was ready to risk it all for marcel while he abandoned her several times. Even in her family she tries so hard to show them love and support while they rarely do the same. Plus the fact that people keep telling her that she’s nothing and that she’s pathetic for wanting love. I srsly love Rebekah and thinks she deserves the world and everything she wants , and I’m glad she’ll get to live it one day😭🤍🤍.
I felt bad for Rebekah she was so sweet but she pushed everyone away bc they all turned on her when Elena stabbed her in her back (literally) when she was getting ready for prom I realised why she pushes everyone away I understand Rebekah

As much as i love Rebekah i have to disagree with that because one character exits in the TVs world that in my opinion had it worse, Kol Mikaelson, And here are my reasons 1. First time he was killed to help elena and he friends find the cure faster, and not to mention his family did not a give a damm about him, being dead, or alive. Klaus cared briefly, but the second Caroline batted her eyelashes at him he practically forgot all about kol. 2. Was brought back to life only for his mother to use him for her good. 3. Killed a second time and to make it worse at the hand of his own brother Finn, not to mention in a very painful way. 4. Lost the love of his life at the hands of two of his siblings Freya and Elijah. (eventually got her back but still) 5. Daggered dozens of time for no clear reason other then him being annoying sometimes with the help of Elijah. 6. Watching his own sister from the other side help his killer elena get what’s she wanted. After elena had killed him. 7. And worst of it all after everything his family did to him, he never did anything to them, all he wanted was for them to care about him, and eventually they did, except it took him dying twice for it to happen.
Even though she got her happy ending... she still went through so much. She deserved the world. All she wanted was happiness and instead she got the opposite.
