the show has never once said to double down lol. you missed the point. be driven by your ego sure, but adapt. isagi even said “i’ll do whatever it takes to win, even if that means tearing myself down. i’ll be reborn again and again”
What bro said. The whole show is a message about growing as a person to become the best version of yourself. It's the opposite. The world is not the problem; you are. Isagi's line in E17 pretty much summed it up: "If you want to change the world that isn't going your way, you have to change yourself." Barou didn't double down on who he was. He lost. But he recognized that there were still people who could defeat him so he changed his mindset and the way he played.
@@nvslvvp For isagi yes, his philosophy is evolving and adapting. Barous philosophy is sticking to the essence of who you are, regardless of how much better you get. After this match, barou never passed the ball again. His philosophy is to rule the court through his own means, and he is indeed doubling down on who he is.
The scene where Barou envisioned himself after losing hope in his dream made me root for him. He is just like the others and as desperate to live his dream as a striker. He might have been a complete idiot for always playing selfishly but Isagi humbled him to the point where he rebuilt himself.
@@tonyhasnosneakers I would say he is still a terrible team player. He's just become such a bad one that it went full circle and became good- nah, effective is a better term for it. It gets the job done.
Barous awakening is the most inspiring to me. Where most people would've given up, he continued pushing forward and gave us one of the if not the best moment in blue lock
Hard Drum and bass to the bone! 🔥🔥
The goat himself is here!!
God the flashforward intro is so beautiful
"Awakening of BAROU", Even the King needs to go above his limit
Double down on who you are, you are not the problem, the world is. Best philosophy in the show

That was the best of the show for me, the hope of watching a selfish king turn into a team player without losing his desire
