As I get a bit older I'm thinking of getting this kit, as it sounds appealing to downsize, and it might even encourage me to get out & play more. However I wonder if they can cut general pop, jazz & some rock venues? They certainly sound like they can. I also have a 71 Gretsch with 12, & 14 toms, a 20 bass, & 14 x 5.5. snare.
I kind of like it. I think they were shooting for a bigger fatter sound with this demo. I've seen him do some with the micro kit with the higher jazz tuning.
I could watch Mark play all day. His playing inspires me greatly.
