As a Christian, we are told never to curse anyone, even our enemies. Instead, we were tokd to pray for them, that they might come to their senses and that God will judge and exact justice in our behalf. As someone who survived abuse, I have not forgiven my abusers, but neither do I want to have anything anymore to do with them. It is just not in my blood. FUNFACT: I'm a Muslim but did you know that in Islam we are encouraged & quite compulsory told to kill lizards (mainly house lizards) especially in the holy day (barakah) of Friday. House lizards makes noises that sounds like the human laugh. As a Christian, we are told never to curse anyone, even our enemies. Instead, we were tokd to pray for them, that they might come to their senses and that God will judge and exact justice in our behalf. As someone who survived abuse, I have not forgiven my abusers, but neither do I want to have anything anymore to do with them. It is just not in my blood. I think the act of cursing someone is an immensely toxic action, and will almost always rebound on the one cursing even if he or she has a reason to do so.

Sikhism comes to mind. It applies to men and women.

When it comes to tattos: some desert tribes used to tattoo their woman's face as protection against magic, you can still see this today; from an islamic point of view it would make sense if this is seen as superstition;
And why are man with tattos not cursed? Maybe simple because that wasn't an issue at the time.
Maybe we should look for some tafsir on that, but I guess the underlying theme is not to change your appearance because it would be disrespectful of allah.
