I have a 16mo and an almost 3mo. I found becoming a Mum for the first time the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. We had an awful first few weeks, honestly. The jump from 1 to 2 was a breeze in comparison. I say the first baby changed every aspect of us, our relationship and our entire lives - the second baby just changes the way your day operates. It does get easier ♥️

Motherhood is a massive shift, it takes to realise you’re a different person and that you don’t need to chase back to the old you. You will still be you but different (a better more patient and kinder person). It can take a good couple of years to really feel like ‘mum’ and you. I found going from 1-2 really hard at times but my youngest is 1 1/2 now and I couldn’t imagine life without him in our family and seeing siblings together and it explodes your heart so much. I agree once they’re 6 month, a year actually especially 1 year olds, they’re chaos but they are hilarious! Then I have a five year old and she is the most clever little girl and being able to sit and chat with them is amazing. There’s some incredible memories to come.

Hi Molly, I’m also a new mum so I can relate to your videos so much and I’m so grateful for your honesty. My little boys just turned 1 and I’m happy with my body now. I haven’t gone out of my way to exercise or eat super healthy as I was in the mindset that my body was healing so I was just going to eat what I wanted and not put pressure on myself to get back to ‘normal’. I haven’t done any gym workouts or done any planned exercise, trust me as soon as Bambi starts moving, daily life looking after her will be a full workout 🤣 Please be patient with yourself and your body, it gets easier!!!xxx
My motherhood experience sounds IDENTICAL to yours. My 👼🏽 is about to turn 1 very soon, and only now is my body desiring movement and exercise. Don't feel bad about the lack of motivation and where you're at, I've come to the acceptance that by body needs the nourishment and I honor my cravings, because being a mom sucks the life out of you! This is a phase in your life that is precious and it won't last long. The first year goes by FAST! 💨✌🏼
Gosh Molly when you spoke about being a first time mum I GET you!! I had such a hard time with my first. When I fell pregnant the second time I was terrified, like really really nervous. But honest to God it's been so so so much easier second time round...I actually really really enjoyed that newborn stage the second time round. If you chose to have a second, don't be surprised if it feels a ton easier ❤

My mum said she never wanted 2 kids in nappies, I came along when my brother was in reception class and it worked well for us as a family!! The 4 year gap is good ☺️
Molly, if you don’t feel like you don’t want to work out or eat incredibly healthily, then don’t!! Remember, most mums would still be on maternity leave at this point. Getting out of bed and looking after your baby for the day is enough. Be kind to yourself. And yes, the jump from 1 to 2 kids is incredibly hard. My first baby was a breeze, and now with a second it’s so so hard and tiring. You’ll know when and if your ready to have another x
Hi! I can say the jump from 1 to 2 kids for me has just been amazing! I’ve got 2 girls under 2, 1.5 year between them. I felt the exact same with baby number one I found it so hard, was the most challenging thing ever! So when I found out I was pregnant with my second, I just cried and really didn’t know what to do, I thought it be the worst, was so nervous. Anyway going forward to baby number 2 joining us, wow she has just slotted in perfectly! I’ve found it so much easier this time around, I don’t even know why it’s easier but it’s just been a breeze and I’ve really enjoyed every second of the new born phase with her - as baby number 1 I hated the new born bit. I know it’s different for everyone but don’t let people scare you, whatever is right for you and your fam💗💗
Molly you are still very young so i dont think that how you feel about more babies right now is strange. You still have so much time so live in the moment and enjoy each day ❤
1st baby is a hell of a shock - and I was 29, thought I was ready ! But just to say, all different, but 2nd baby was not a huge jump at all. 2nd one has to fit in with current routines and remember, your world turned upside down and changed - it can't happen a second time because it's already happened. Its alot, lot easier ❤

going from one to two is waaaay easier than 0 to 1! you're already in that "mom" headspace and life surprisingly doesn't change that much going to two. having one blew my mind just like you and number two is so much easier and more smooth! don't be scared!

1-2 is mental, but for me it was more myself rather than actually looking after the baby/toddler. I completely lost myself and my brain became scrambled egg - I felt so far away from who I was and I was a lot quicker to want to go back to the gym, time out with friends etc! It’s hard but worth it! I always wanted 3 but think I’m happy and satisfied with 2 😂😂 xx
The transition from 1-2 has been amazing I have a 2 and half year gap between my girls, I definitely could of done longer and will next time. Don’t get me wrong it was a learning curve juggling them both and it took some time. The mental side was so much easier this time. You’ve all ready gone through that massive life transformation and I just had this peace and confidence that I didn’t have the first time round. Also I’m so much kinder to myself this time round. Thats my biggest advice for new mums be kind to yourself and don’t compare your journey we’re all different it takes a 1-2 years to fully physically/mentally recover ❤

If it’s any consolation I didn’t feel like I had the brain capacity until very recently to focus on myself and diet/exercising and my daughter is almost 3! I put so much pressure on myself and tried and failed many times until I trusted myself to know when will be the right time for me
Maybe it’s the fact that you know going to the gym will cause yet more changes in your life and you just need time atm to settle without giving yourself another thing to focus on when you’re so busy already? And if so that’s a completely valid reason. Your body isn’t going to look like that forever, this is just temporary so try not to feel too bad🫶

Just because I couldn’t conceive …. But it was the best thing that happened. Because I wasn’t chasing babies. When Bambi gets 6-7 months it will be so much better for you. I went from 1 baby to 3 😂 I ended up having twins but wouldn't change it for the world it was so hard at the start but now the boys are 7 and my daughter is 11 it's so much easier. I love watching your videos I love how real and honest you are ❤ xx
Don’t worry about having more kids exp now Bambi is only a baby and 0 to 1 can be the hardest for some others it’s 1-2 for me it was 2/3 beyond that point I just give up caring how hard it was I got used to it … your doing amazing and you shouldn’t worry what the internet thinks as your family love you your friends love you and your true fans will support you always instead of being sheep that follow what’s being said love to you all ❤
Take your time, you will get to where you need to be, when i had my son the first few months where such a struggle, lack of sleep really got to me and he cried alot during the night 😭😭 It definitely does get easier. If i can give one advice to my past self, It would be to cherish every little moment with my child, as they grow up so fast 🥺😢 i now miss the baby him 😢

Don’t worry about having more kids exp now Bambi is only a baby and 0 to 1 can be the hardest for some others it’s 1-2 for me it was 2/3 beyond that point I just give up caring how hard it was I got used to it … your doing amazing and you shouldn’t worry what the internet thinks as your family love you your friends love you and your true fans will support you always instead of being sheep that follow what’s being said love to you all ❤

Take your time, you will get to where you need to be, when i had my son the first few months where such a struggle, lack of sleep really got to me and he cried alot during the night 😭😭 It definitely does get easier. If i can give one advice to my past self, It would be to cherish every little moment with my child, as they grow up so fast 🥺😢 i now miss the baby him 😢
