Man, I really miss those type of bombs.
You know the ones with a real slowly timer in which you can narrate a whole backstory, get into a discussion, fail to de-activate, get into a fight for no reason and still has some seconds to spare for escape, lol! 😆.
I counted that timer over and over but the time kept getting set backwards. It should've gone off tons of times. XD

20-ish years later, Guile’s opening credits run cycle STILL infuriates me. But I look at it, every time. What the hell is that? This cartoon makes me feel the same way I do when I see Fat Mega Man.

Not gonna lie, both Sawada and Guile were annoying to me. I get their points of view at times but they were Street Toddlers this episode. Also, would have loved it if the bomb went off at 20:00. Episode ends with both babies blown up and credits roll.
They ran away because T. Hawk gave them a small taste of his flying ability. Thats pretty terrifying.
Dude did fly straight into a computer last episode with no scratch on him.

I'm still baffled that they thought to include Sawada in this cartoon. I mean sure I obviously remember him from the live action movie, but I remember a lot of things from that movie and most of those things shouldn't be in a SF TV show. I agree so much with you about the state of Sagat in this friggin' show. In my head Sagat is meant to be the strongest pure martial artist in the SF universe which makes his loss to Ryu in the canon that much more of a big deal. The only reason he becomes a subordinate to the Dictator is because he is scientifically enhanced to be stronger than Sagat.
IMO Sawada serves as a rival to Guile given how both are heroes that fight on different teams and have different yet basic ideals and have (bitter) history together. And yeah, Sagat as a villain is really stupid even with his Corn Flakes, Tiger Shotgun and him trying to overthrow Bison.
Guile Sonic Booming the bomb to defuse it makes "time powers: activate!" seem less crazy.

There are a lot of shows where characters say "I don't take orders" or "I'm my own boss" but have jobs where they have to take orders and have bosses.
