      Hi Birce, I use 80 mesh sandpaper first, then 240 mesh, 800 mesh.....Until the surface can be satisfied. Because this project is a coaster, actually it's quite easy to use sandpaper even by hand. but might be harder for other projects. And don't worry about the type. just start from 80 mesh, all type will be fine, Cheers~

      The white cement and cement paint used in this video can achieve the effect as terrazzo, but the color is not very obvious after the cement is dried, Use transparent spray paint for making more vivid surface color. (I have also used wax, but the transparent paint get better result)

      @@WesseWorkshop loved ur tutorial ... just one question... the white cement will not be heavy? As I heard the jesmonite it's very light in weight. Here Some Tips you might ned
      - Avoid a strong sunshine
      - add Sandstone
      - After the cement dried, put into the water a few days, and then take it out.
      - put wire mesh if making big cement project
      - Don't put too much water when you adjust the cement

    Hey.. Had a doubdt.. Will the white cement get cracks while demoulding? And will the chips get powdered while rubbing with sand paper?

    • @WesseWorkshop
      @WesseWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, White cement is the similar as other cements, it is unlikely to crack after correct process
      When using sandpaper, sprinkle a little water on it and it won’t make ashes, which is why I grind it in the sink.
