I was worried Jabari wasn't going to hit the future all star tier with some of the other guys. His stats were disappointing but for a Rockets organization thats a bit of a mess at the moment. His 3 PT shot definitely needs some improvement but when he gets hot he looks ridiculous. I think giving him the benefit of the doubt is the right move. His defense has come around and he is consistently giving a very solid effort. I watched most of the Rockets games this year I think he will come around in the next year or 2. He has a 180 fadeaway he loves to shoot and he just towers over the defender when he shoots it. If he can get that to land a little more often it will be insane.

BTW I don’t think it’s a good comparison,MPJ is not close to what OPJ was supposed to be without injuries, and PBJ is definitely more MPJ like then OPJ,but a poor man version for now.Remember OPJ was actually the third pick in his draft, while MPJ is like 14th.If I really need to compare,Otto was supposed to be MPJ with better basketball IQ & defense, but keep getting beat down by injuries, while MPJ is already injury-prone as well.
11:27 Makes no sense to put Keegan Murray in future starter... he's already a starter on the 3 seeded Kings. He beat the rookie 3 pt record. He needs to be in future all star tier
The drop off from Future Starter to Nothing Special is too steep, I think you could rename the latter to "Showed Flashes," since I do think almost all these rookies gave us a glimpse of what they could be with proper development
No way you dropped Keegan Murray to Future starter and put him below Sharpe, Williams, Ivey, Mathurin and Jabari Smith... that's basically saying he wasn't a top 5 rookie this season when he broke the 3 point rookie record
I don’t think I need to explain how dumb it is to label Keegan Murray as a “future starter” as he currently starts for the 3rd ranked team in the west and lead the number 1 offense in 3pm and %.
Very solid list. I don’t think Paolo has MVP potential tho no freakish physical/athletic traits like LeBron or KD who ppl are comparing his rookie year to and not super skilled or a good high volume shooter like Luka. And his defensive ceiling is somewhat capped. A better version of Julius Randle seems more likely his trajectory which is a top 10-20 player but MVP will be hard for him with guys like Tatum, SGA, Luka, Wemby, Ant, Haliburton and Ja all not that far apart in age and ceilings are higher. That’s just my opinion maybe he proves me wrong. I think Chet and maybe Sharpe and J Dub have better chances at being MVP one day but those are long shots too
I think Paolos strength as a 19/20 year old is insane. His ability to create solid shots for himself and body his way to the basket and being a top 10 FTA player as a rookie is kind of unheard of. Yea his efficiency is bad but so were many greats who had other teams game planning to stop him. I mean the Cavs were doubling him while future DPOY winner Mobley was guarding him. I think future MVP is very valid but I totally understand where you’re coming from.
You think OKC have 3 future MVPs? Another Russ Harden KD? Do you think Chet and Mobley are comparable if so do you also have Mobley as a future MVP possibly?
A Randle trajectory to Paolo is very disrespectful since as a 19/20 year old Rookie Paolo was doing what 24 year old NOLA Randle was accomplishing. Also imo I don’t think Paolo take as much braindead/bad shots as Randle does 😂 I legit think Randle has the worst shot selection I’ve seen since young Russ/prime annoyed Kobe 😭
@@thepeoplesmix9779 I said better version of Randle so eliminate the poor shot selection and some of the boneheaded plays on defense. That’s still maybe the 12th best player at best considering Randle is like 25-30th. Paolo just doesn’t have great foot speed or explosiveness off two feet or a great shooting touch or crazy good vision or good defensive instincts and versatility he’s just solid. I know it’s tempting to project great things and leaps for a number one pick putting up his counting stats but his ceiling is capped by the things I’ve mentioned especially defensively it’s unlikely he’s ever more than just okay on D. The guys I mentioned all have higher ceilings than Paolo. J Dub probably has the highest ceiling of any young player in the league very unlikely he hits it but his physical talent is well beyond Paolo’s he’s 6’6 215lbs 7’2 wingspan and rare speed, athleticism and strength combo to go with excellent touch around the rim only young LeBron exceeds that total physical package. For reference he had 77 dunks this year Paolo had 52 with way more usage and J Dub’s efficiency was light years better(10.2% higher effective field goal percentage which is insane) and defense and almost every analytic. In 11 games without SGA he put up 21.5ppg 4.7reb 5.5ast 1.9stl 1.9TO on 54.8/39.7/79.2 and +45 and that included a 1pt 0-8 shooting game in December and those stats are still elite and way ahead of anything Paolo did all around statistically at any stretch. And he’s outplayed him overall since mid December the numbers look better. Chet obviously has a very high ceiling but I actually don’t think he will be better than Paolo or Mobley just a bit more upside on paper than Paolo and same thing for Sharpe.
@@bkelly625 yea idk why but I don’t see it with J Dub. I think he’s like 3 years older than Sharpe and Paolo as well? I’m high on Chet tho. I feel like everytime I’ve tuned into OKC this szn teams look to be way more focused on stopping SGA and/or Giddey and J Dub picks his spots (Elite cutter and finisher) also I think OKC floor spacing helps with their offense efficiency especially in the paint and credit to Mark for having this young team as a top 10-15 defensive team while playing undersized for the majority of the szn (post Mike Muscala trade) J Will leading the league in taking charges as a rookie helps obviously but still. Sharpe the last month and Paolo throughout the szn (best defensive player assigned to them, while dealing with doubles/hedges) get far more attention from the defense from what I’ve seen. Then again maybe I’m just flat out wrong about that with J Dub. I’ll will tune into OKC these two play-in games (I have them winning both games to finish as the 8th seed) and then revisit those games where there was no SGA and look at their comp those games over the course of this summer God-Willing.
I’m sorry but that’s a such a bad MarJon take. Everytime he got good minutes and was in the rotation he was a good piece on both ends. Bud doesn’t play rookies and we didn’t see enough of MarJon bc he’s such a good defender that can and should play serious minutes next year

@@timothygubarik5823 LMFAO @5 28 ppg in his year 3 hahaha what a fucking joke, almost as big of a joke as that absolute trash trade you think would work for Mikal bridges. Holy fuck what is wrong with you 😂😂😂😂
Nothing like a two week sample size! Would think you blazers idiots learned your less when after the first two weeks of this season, and that tiny sample size, you all said you were the western conference favorites and a finals team and title contender…. you all will never fuckin learn
A all star guard needs handles
I see Mark Williams potentially being a future all star. I don’t think anyone in this class has the potential to win mvp tho
Imagine not havin a rookie this year😢but we made the playin
I agree with these for the most part, good list
bad take on roddy when he plays hes definitely solid
“Nothing special” seems like it should have been below “A little worried” Don’t ya think 🤔
Patrick Baldwin would literally start on every other team but Golden State. Smooth jumper with solid defense, MPJ ceiling with Otto Porter floor
Sorry, but as a dubs fan you are high. His defense is what keep him away from getting more minutes.
Do you really think GSW won’t let him at least be in the 7th~8th rotation if he fits your description?
The truth is his defense is no where near OPJ,otherwise he would be a key piece already, imagine GSW having
a younger OPJ this season with more potential, they won’t suffer when Wiggins was out half the season.
BTW I don’t think it’s a good comparison,MPJ is not close to what OPJ was supposed to be without injuries,
and PBJ is definitely more MPJ like then OPJ,but a poor man version for now.Remember OPJ was actually the third pick in
his draft, while MPJ is like 14th.If I really need to compare,Otto was supposed to be MPJ with better basketball IQ & defense,
but keep getting beat down by injuries, while MPJ is already injury-prone as well.
Where’s Tari Eason at? Definitely a promising 2 way player player.
Where isJayden Hardy? This was his rookie year and I thought he showed promise.
Aside from banchero Kessler should be the main guy in future all star
What happened to Johnny Davis
I don’t think Kessler can score 20 ppg, I think he’ll just be a 15 ppg player max
Keegan Murray is definitely a future all Star!
No he’s not lmao
11:27 Makes no sense to put Keegan Murray in future starter... he's already a starter on the 3 seeded Kings. He beat the rookie 3 pt record. He needs to be in future all star tier
The drop off from Future Starter to Nothing Special is too steep, I think you could rename the latter to "Showed Flashes," since I do think almost all these rookies gave us a glimpse of what they could be with proper development
there’s a tier in between them
I think beauchamp has been solid
Wait so paolo is a future mvp but Jalen green is 7th in a redraft? Make it make sense
Make what make sense? Paolo is the better player.
@@xviper2k no he’s not lol
@@upstairsrook3039how about now? Still not better than jalen green 😂
No way you dropped Keegan Murray to Future starter and put him below Sharpe, Williams, Ivey, Mathurin and Jabari Smith... that's basically saying he wasn't a top 5 rookie this season when he broke the 3 point rookie record
why is there so many tubs behind you? is there where u put the haters?
how is dalen Terry in worried tier, he legit doesnt play at all because of all of our guards and Demar
so much talk at the draft about how terry is a project and needs years before making an impact, then one year passes and now you worried?
LFG Paolo bachero
Where’s the Future HOF tier & why isn’t Kenny lofton in it??!
Did this list not include any round 2 guys? I was waiting to see where you’d rank Nembhard
Only the first round I think
The other jaylin williams is also a solid player (J Will)
I don’t think I need to explain how dumb it is to label Keegan Murray as a “future starter” as he currently starts for the 3rd ranked team in the west and lead the number 1 offense in 3pm and %.
Keegan Murray only rookie contender playoffs
Very solid list not at all mad at it.
You gonna do a playoff prediction vid?
Yessir, play in predictions tomorrow and playoff on Thursday
Why did you have to put b word? You couldn't just put bum? Lol
Oh that means bust I thought it meant bum 😂😂😂
i thought he ment b**ch hahahah
What do you think of nembhard?
Future starter
Tari eason?
You said Jabari can get to the rim it’s clear you don’t even watch the games lol
L Keegan Murray take
Ofc you don’t talk about mark williams
Shaedon Sharpe is the future !
No one in this class has a shot at mvp
kenny lofton JR
Pbj barely bad time. A little unfair to have him in that tier
And he made plays when he did play
I don't get Peyton Watson over Marjon
Dyson future starter and Jeremy Sochan Defense not a ? Thts what he do best but errthing else absolutely rii
I'm gonna be honest Shaedon Sharpe looks beyond elite, silky ass playstyle. I think future MVP was fine lol
Keegan Murray roty
keegan 100% all star in future
do 1 one for the sophomores
Ivey > Williams
Facts
So this can be the best draft ever basically ? Lol
How is Jabari Smith better than AJ Griffin?
I’m sorry but that’s a such a bad MarJon take. Everytime he got good minutes and was in the rotation he was a good piece on both ends. Bud doesn’t play rookies and we didn’t see enough of MarJon bc he’s such a good defender that can and should play serious minutes next year
