Yes, Budapest live!! They never “just sang/played@ their recorded version of songs...they took it up a few notches to perform and entertain!! Always critiqing their performance afterwards. They said if they just did their songs like their record, people should just stay home and listen to the record!

AND: Freddie Mercury & operatic soprano Montserrat Caballe (her nickname is Montsy) did an entire album together titled Barcelona... Just WAIT until you hear some songs from that!!! PULEAZE consider reacting to: "Exercises In Free Love" and then "Ensueno". (There are no official music videos for these songs, just still images with the music etc. There are also impressive-quality fanmade music videos) I'm sure by now, you must've been told the background of the two songs? "Exercises In Free Love" is actually a DEMO that Freddie recorded, of himself singing the SOPRANO part that he had written for Montsy, for her to hear when they first met about doing a project together. "Ensueno" is the finished song, a duet... Where this time, Freddie is singing in his GORGEOUS baritone while Montsy sings soprano.

This is such a banger! I love this song and all the covers I have heard of it over the years. There is a very cute cover of this song by Brian's daughter Louisa, when she was about 4 yo I am guessing. She is just adorable singing her daddy's song. I can't help but think that tape has got to be one of Brian's most treasured possessions.
As your quite new to Queen, thought you needed to know that there is footage from 3 Wembley concerts. 2 full nights of their own music to their own fans, and Live Aid at Wembley. This one was a charity concert with various artists that lasted for hours. Queen went on 6 hours in, to a crowd who didn't even know they would be there when they bought their tickets. Something to keep in mind when you watch it! 😉😊
I don't know if there's a style they couldn't do. I love a good power ballad like this. Lately I've been hooked on the "fun" songs. "Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy" and "Don't Stop Me Now" always make me happier. And "Friends Will Be Friends" is just sweet, and "You're My Best Friend." I don't know if you've seen "Somebody to Love" but I always recommend both the live and studio versions. The studio one has all the great great backups and harmonies.

Can i suggest you review the new Queen song released, Face it alone. Also, Alan Lambert and Queen at the Isle of Wight singing Who Wants to live forever. Its as good as Freddie but just different. You should take a look. You wont be sorry.

Freddie's estate only made the public aware of his condition the day before he died, most likely at his own request. Freddie is singing about his own fate.

This was 1986, his last album whilst alive was 1991 which was Innuendo, last song was Mother Love which was sung in May 1991 and featured on Made in heaven 1995. Who wants to live forever is a line from Highlander which is what this song was written for.

I loved this song in the movie Highlander. It fit in so well with the premise of the movie.
“Tear it Up” not well known. But great fun. It’s similar vibe as “Don’t Stop Me Now” but Tear has a harder beat that just propels this song.
