- In this travel vlog you'll get to join me on a night flight from Lima to Bogota, as I'm traveling to Colombia for the first time in my life! We end up staying 3 days in Bogota and during our stay I almost got pick pocketed, we go up the Monserrate mountain & explore the La Candelaria neighbourhood

When you said that prices were more expensive than other countries, I have to say that you bought everything in touristic shops and usually prices are double than in a normal shop. Also, I've seen how people rise prices without reason to foreigners in Bogota and every time I feel shame for my own people.
But not everyone is like this and there are more positive things that I hope are more than the negative ones.

helo, about the supposedly more expensive food in Bogota, maybe compared to Peru's prices it is but food in Colombia is cheap, my brother who lives in Florida USA traveled to Medellin and found the food and fruit prices very cheap compared to similar ones here, unless you eat in a Michelin restaurant! (OrlandoFlorida).
It was cheaper once we went to other cities yes 😊🙌🏼

I wouldn't criticize her food preferences. Eating the things we usually like, but with ingredients grown in other latitudes, is also part of the travel experience. It's like comparing. It's fun, too.
