i definitely think there should be more videos on newer plates like this. Majority of the time, you cant do your own testing, but somehow supposed to trust that these plates are going to save your life. Thankfully companies like you guys have really stepped up and done this for us. It definitely puts people more at ease about it.
@@mavericktacticalllc yes, there is also a large mental component to knowing a fact and seeing it in action. i think anyone would prefer to buy a product they see being tested rather than told it passed
We do have a video that explains each of our composite armor options th-cam.com/video/I4NV6DoZ5nA/w-d-xo.html We will be coming out with more in depth content on each plate soon though!
The YM2 is made to defeat rifle rounds up to M855A1 (Military Armor Piercing Round) including heavier hitting rounds like 7.62x51 (.308). The YM4 on the other hand is very particularly made to stop 5.56 FMJ and Green Tip rounds along with 7.62x39. While the YM4 will technically stop a .308, the back face deformation on it would be very harmful. We recommend the YM2 as a great all-around plate for stopping most common rounds, and the YM4 would be used more for specific active shooter situations where being lightweight is crucial. I hope this helps!
It’s important for options on the market and you guys being the best!!

Agreed, although lab testing is very proper and trustworthy, its nice to see a real world test of the plates being shot!

Fun video!
Thank you!
Any chance y'all are working on a breakdown of the different levels of plates offered? maybe why someone might benefit one over another?
