Guns go boom and make a lot of noise making you a higher target for others. Suppressors are a great add on but before guns, ammo and armor which all weigh a lot. Hunting, crafting and trapping would be valuable skills. A good QUANTITY knife is always my first recommendation for a just in case situation.
