For anyone wondering which one is better, here is the breakdown for each:
Harman Kardon Soundsticks 4:
- The subwoofer has the lowest frequency of 40hz
- One ambient lightning
- It has two soundsticks, so you can hear the left and right of the sound/music. It also covers more area and faster spreading (upright position). If you play games with a speaker, this would be better. Hence, you would find this more versatile to use for many different things.
- I find this have more cords, so it would make your place messy. It is not easy to move this thing around since there are three components of the speakers.
- I tried putting the volume to max, surprisingly, with my choice of song, there has not been any distortion at all
- They listened to their reviewers to fix the buttons on the Aura Studio 3
- Note: the soundsticks 4’s subwoofer cannot be set to your preference like the previous generation.
Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3:
- The subwoofer has the lowest frequency of 25hz, so if you listen to upbeat music, this is for you
- Continuous changing ambient lightning, so this is cooler in my perspective
- You can see the thickness of the bottom part of the speaker; this is actually one of soundsticks is placed there. One soundstick instead of two soundsticks.
- Easier to move around and has one cord. Therefore, if you like to move your speaker around, this is a better choice for you
- at 90% volume, it creates a distortion already
- I personally hate the buttons on this speaker; it is hard to look for them
In summary, there is no better speaker. Both speakers are beautiful! The decision is yours depending on the usage of the speakers. I got both speakers for the same price, and I keep both the speakers and use each depending on my case-to-case basis.
However, if you have the Harman Kardon Soundsticks 3, wireless or Aura Studio 2, getting either the Aura Studio 3 or Soundsticks 4 is not advisable since it would be a waste of money. If you have the older soundsticks, this would be a great time to replace your older ones. If you have the Aura Studio 3, you do not have to buy the Soundsticks 4 as well. However, if you do not have any, I would not recommend getting the Soundsticks 3, Wireless nor the Aura Studio 2. Harman Kardon released newer versions because there were some issues with the older ones just so that you know.

Soundstick is less compressed and way more transparent on the mids and highs. More hi-fi voiced. AS3 is more bass driven and resonances are more apparent. More focussed for younger generations I guess

I have Aura studio, play clear I cant complain but this device have two issues
1st Bluetooth - if u have few devicec plug in on same devices u have issues with connection for ex if u have mouse and keybord on bth speaker star have some interferance issues and dont play clear.
2nd maybe is my model but to 50% loud is playing ok but not woow but abow 50% its really really good.
If u dont have space at home and u like music and hear details, highly recommend this device some times is mind blowing with quality.
For SoundSticks 4 it's designed for stand in front of the 2 satellite speaker for vibrant sound. And it's more powerful than Aura 3
And way cleaner too.
I have listened to them both in person and I think for listening to music Aura is a better choice but Sound Sticks has a better sound separation and clarity
Is it worth double the price for the upgrade from SoundStick 3? I don't really care about Ethernet or wifi connection, it's just going to wired to my desktop anyway. But besides the connection feature, the other difference is the Amplifier Power Rating, 20 W RMS VS 140 W RMS. That's 7x difference.

I have Harmon Kardon Pl Soundsticks 4. The Play back is excellent. They are room filling. They are bass heavy with no controls. They need separate bass and treble controls to be Super Excellent.

Sound stick 4 sound is more forward, treble is more silly from the satellites.Better bass definition.
Sound stick 3 is more warmer ,more airy dispersion but lose coherence at highest volume.
Conclusion.. I prefer ST 3 for warm and airy..

Both sound very similar, but I think the Studio 3 sounds slightly better.
Aura studio sounds like in an empty hall, Hollow, especially mid to higher freq sound. Which i dont like, Soundstick sound much better across all freq.

Both dope. Soundsticks have advantage of left and right speakers but Studio more space conscious. And studio 150 dollars cheaper where i am. Also the lights cooler.

Soundsticks 4 vs onyx 7. Which one is better in sound quality?
Soundstick has good stereo seperation, and better balanced sound.
But the Soundsticks 4 has the volume control on the subwoofer itself, that can be very annoying when using it on a computer.
@@scottykilmer3920 I already bought the soundsticks 4. I use only for my handphone. The bass is huge, the high is not so good. But because I use a DAC, the sound quality is much more better as I can adjust the EQ. The volume control quite helps for me.

Hừm cũng hơi khó so sánh con kia để 2 bên được nhưng nếu dùng cho máy tính , laptop thì hợp lý còn 2 em này khá là to nên dùng phòng khách , tv loa nghe chính thì hợp lý hơn còn về chất âm thì mình có phần ưng 2 em trong clip hơn cụ thể thì soundstick 4
Nhưng nếu nhu cầu bạn nhỏ gọn thì em nghĩ bose companion 20 là ổn ạ !

yea , theirs sticks can remove & use without sticks. But the cause is treble sound maybe not good when use full sticks. If you don't like that stick , I think aura 3 is better with that design !!

Aura 3 nó là stereo hay mono vậy ad? Và nó có được tính là 2.1 không vậy ạk
Nó là loa 360 hay loa đa hướng. Ko còn gọi là 2.1 hay 5.1.... Nữa
Gọi là loa toàn dải, âm vòm 360 rồi. Góc nào cũng nghe đc hay, trên xe hơi phải loại đắt tiền lắm ms có trang bị âm vòm
Thật ra nó ko hẳn là 360 hắn đâu bạn, chỉ tính từ tâm loa hướng về trước, còn thực ra nó vẫn là stereo 2 kênh rõ ràng, tổng cộng có 6 loa vệ tinh chia đôi

aura 3聲音略顯乾扁 soundsticks相對感覺比較飽滿
Soundstick 4更适合用于电脑音箱，卫星箱摆桌面显示器两侧，subwoofer放桌下，在游戏或者电影时候，由于左右两个声道拉得较开，可以获得更好的定位感和声场，声音也听起来更加通透；Arua studio 3由于左右声道的各三只喇叭靠得比较近，所以不太适合近距离听，更适合于沉浸式聆听，比如放在客厅，在开放式厨房做饭，或者坐在沙发看书，和朋友小酌的时候，甚至累了摊在沙发躺听，让声音充满整个房间，属于一种比较relax的听法，它的低频风格也能很好的演绎比较relax的作品，比如bass绵长的延音。如果两者分别都用于各自的使用场景，都是很出色的。

IMO both aren't audiophile devices neither to give nothing that could reach perfection!
To resume differences. SS4 would fit better at a desk or to keep over a surface. AS3 is more designed to be transported, something between fixed and portable but without a battery.
I'd stick with AS3 for being a single piece solution. Sound quality on both is pretty much the same. As said, it's not designed to be perfect, but to deliver an outstanding sound indeed.
You want audiophile quality you are at the wrong place. Nothing bluetooth is audiophile except maybe the Devialet Phantom Gold and that itself is debateable. Stop talking about audiophile quality on vids like these.

@@bruno-sorocaba i dont, but many do. For a small compact system, it pumps out more than most can ask for. Nowhere near neutral, but it sounds lively and ready to rock.
@@AbsoluteFidelity agreed. imo these H&K models can deliver a very good sound to sit and listen in a quiet room or even at a small party with a couple friends. Im planning to buy the AS3 model in replacement of a much smaller jbl I have for now.
@@bruno-sorocaba the as3 is a good choice, way better than the as2. The Go Play, out of all the models, sound the most hifi-ish, that is worth having a listen too. And although its bass isnt as deep (maybe 5hz higher or so) as the onyx 5/6 and the as3, the bass doesnt compress at max volume at all like the onyx 5/6 and as3.
