Thank you for your comment. I don't fully understand the meaning of your question. Jetcat P60 and P80 have different bearing diameters. Unfortunately I don't know the model number of the P60 bearing. The P80 has a 608 bearing. In my other videos, I replaced the bearings on the P80.
Thank you for your comment. The high exhaust temperature was due to bearing wear. I replaced the bearing with a new one and it worked. The second problem is the wear of the starter clutch O-ring. This also works fine after replacing the O-ring.
Hello!, So what do you think caused the high idle temperature in this turbine? I have a jet cat P120 which was crashed and I fixed it , but it's having the same high idle temperature issue. But I don't understand what could cause high idle temperature in a turbine.
Thank you for your comment. The cause of this engine was the bearing. I replaced the bearings with new ones and everything worked fine. It is thought that the cause of the high temperature is that the combustion temperature rises due to the increase in the rotational resistance of the bearing.
@@ringoen-saito OH wow, really! I thought the cause of high temp idle could be some blockage in the fuel delivery tubes. How do you balance the engine after a repair, do you have a dynamic balancer or do you do it some other way?
The P80 engine is a thin tube that uses part of the fuel to cool and lubricate the bearings. If this tube is blocked, the bearings will wear out quickly. Try to see if the turbine runs quietly and smoothly for a few seconds when you turn it by hand. If it doesn't rotate, the bearing is worn. When I replaced the bearings, I marked the rotating parts. So I made sure that their positions did not change during assembly. There is no engine vibration during operation. Not recommended if you want the perfect balance.
02:51 Is the combustor liner damaged or is it normal to have those deformations? I would expect those to impact flow and increase pressure drop in the combustor.
Thank you for your comment. The combustion chamber of this engine was deformed by the impact of the crash. You are right. I have already fixed this combustion chamber deformation.
Hi, great work! I am also repairing a jet cat p120. I just changed the bearings, but i don't know what the torque of the turbine wheel nut and the compressor wheel nut is. So I could really use your help. So to what torque spec did you torque the turbine wheel nut and the compressor wheel nut to?
I tightened the turbine side nut a little tighter. On the compressor side, a flat-blade screwdriver was passed through the side hole of the nut and tightened. Be careful not to overtighten the turbine side as the screws will break. I once broke the screw and am repairing it.
Nice job. Did you do anything for the damaged turbine?
Thank you for your comment.
The repairs to this engine included replacing the bearings with new ones and fixing the deformed combustion chamber.
Blz.os rolamentos da 60 sao iguais da 80 ? Teria a medida pra me passar da 60 ? Obrigado. Boa noite

Sounds like an issue with the turbine section based upon those two statements, no auto-start and exhaust temperature too high.

@@ringoen-saito Oh I see. I just found this video and didn't realise it was involved in a crash. The damage looks surprisingly moderate to me now! 😄
I have repaired several crashed and burnt jet engines. Usually the intake side is damaged.

I have not measured the torque of the turbine nut. I think there is no problem if the nut is tightened with one hand with a 20 cm wrench.
@@ringoen-saito ah ok, but do you know how tight the compressor wheel nut is supposed to be, like its torque?
