Our 1st one my husband and I bought spoiled us... We haven't bought one since because we'll never beat it! over $3,000 in gold jewelry, 30+ paintings we sold at a flea market, Native American pottery we sold on Ebay for 100's of dollars... it was insane! This was in Oklahoma
I use to buy storage units all the time. My first unit I got for $1 this was back when they did in person auctions. It was 6 black trash bags and one box. The trash bags were full of kids Jordan shoes and the box had 500 new bottles of sensitive skin sunscreen I sold for $15 each on ebay. The best one was a video game collectors unit I got for $30. I made thousands on that unit. I moved and there are no storage units near me now so I just have enjoy videos so hopefully you will do more of them.
Yeah i think that ad was in poor taste. One of the main issues with ebay is the fact there are so many chinese junk listings/illegitimate chinese sellers
You have to at least scan the Monopoly games. Some definitely make money. You picked them up so fast the only one I could recognize was the Simpsons Electronic Banking one ... which IS donation material, but the really special ones have made me some money. One I remember off the top of my head is the one for the TV show Supernatural as being worth around a hundred.
...looked again and used the Pixel AI. Cheaters edition is another donation but the Monopoly Empire game pre-owned looks to go for $20-40 depending on shipping cost.
Many of those other items combined are worth more than a playstation. I am always surprised when other guys I see shopping at garage sales ask if there are games and if not they walk away leaving plenty of other valuable items behind. Oh well, their loss is my gain!
@@ReadySetResell Agreed, if you are looking for specific items to collect I think that is a different story. I just chuckle when people are hard up on finding just one item for reselling and they overlook all the other great stuff available. Also, those legacy games, controllers and consoles are getting quite old in the tooth. I have had to get rid of a fair amount because they just don't work anymore, plus many are not worth the effort to crack open and fix. That bottle of perfume you found was worth $80.00. There is a PS console right there. 🤣
Felt like going through a regular thrift store mostly all garbage trash , only a few things to save . And to think people were spending money each month to hold this junk lol smh…..
That was a fun video. I would love to dive in to storage units but I always chicken out😂. As tedious as it is however I would try and go through all the little boxes and purses just in case they left some $$ behind. And Yes! More storage units! 😁
@ReadySetResell a chunk of gold in one that I was certain was fake. It was real and put me into the profit immediately. Otherwise they've all just been bread and butter... I'll take it though!
I hope you went through those boxes better outside of the video. You really did throw away/donate alot of money. I think the mask you tossed might have been a Friday night at Freddy's. If you still have it check it out
Man as fast as you went through those boxes you probably lost some money..I’ve found gold and stuff in boxes like that..when u buy storage units u have to go thru EVERYTHING!
I went through some things more thoroughly later. I had to be quick on the clean outs though because I didn’t realize I had to be out by a certain time. I thought I had all day lol. I know for the future to get there earlier.
Your auction photo didn't match your initial look at the unit. Did you already go through it before you started filming?? Or did "they" go through it??
I didn’t even notice it was different until you said that. But no I didn’t go though it at all before that initial shot. The people broke the lock off and opened it for me then I started filming.
Interesting new experience to see you do. With the time, effort and organizing you had to do i always wonder with storage units if it's worth it overall. Yes you will make back your money and then some. But compared to just thrifting is it worth it for the amount of work.
@scottjohnson921 yup he definitely does. But I know I've seen several resellers do storage unit cleanouts and they often wonder about effort over reward. So say cleanout/sorting takes a full day, does a couple hundred bucks outweigh it? That's all I was wondering. If you just thrift, go home and list are you getting more bang for your buck. That's all. Certainly can make money doing storage units. It just seems like you need alot of squeeze for the juice.
I was always curious about this too. And it’s the main reason I avoided units with large furniture and stuff. It seems like it could be a huge headache sometimes. But I gotta admit this was pretty fun to do. I could easily see the work outweighing the reward if you get a dud unit. For a $10 unit though it would be hard to go wrong.
Do you send your fake designer bags off to auction or flea markets? There's still a $20 bill someone will give ya for that pretty quick if you can find a way to unload it.
Yeah I’ve been wanting to do it for a while. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it but, it turned out to be a lot of fun. Also, a lot more work haha.
Have you ever bought a storage unit? Did you find anything good?

@@sararoberts6026dang that’s nuts. What a good first locker haha

Bought 1, tons of work, tons of nasty... found a stuffed bobcat, so that was different lol
Raw dogging those boxes is crazy. Get some gloves brother
Thanks for not spending a ton of time going through it... i like these videos, but they can get loooong!
You should check them creepy dolls out, sometimes big money.
Can you please make the videos longer? I would of loved to see both of the units in this video
I’m all for sponsors and stuff, but this is just a Temu store that sells plastic clothing and poisonous plastic crap..
Yeah i think that ad was in poor taste. One of the main issues with ebay is the fact there are so many chinese junk listings/illegitimate chinese sellers
Least he didn't do an actual temu ad lol
Your leaving a decent amount of money behind going through so fast and just automatically discarding things!
That rainbow leopard folder, I think? Was Lisa Frank. Look it up, many items are very expensive!
Yep! I saw it!

Gonna be real hard not double maybe triple your money on that one... LOL
Loved the video, more please. Thanks, for sharing.🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩

Yeah they for sure are but I don’t only resell I collect things as well. And when you find stuff in your collecting niche it makes things more fun.

I've actually done pretty well on the few storage units I've bought.
Found anything really cool?

Let me buy the percs 😝😝😝😝😝🤗
11:29 How was this not the thumbnail??
Go Ben✌️❣️
Can this really make money? Hahaha😂

Just casually bare handing a used dong and continued like it was nothing.

Typically I just donate them. I don’t usually do luxury purses in general unless I’m confident in it.
great video yet again i would definitely love to see more storage unit vids
Good buy
new content i see
Haha yup I’ve been wanted to try this for a while
lets gooooo! thanks for making my Thursday just a bit brighter. I'm currently bidding on a locker myself.
Good luck on it 💪
I'm glad you’ve finally made a storage unit video. So much money in it!
Yeah I’ve been wanting to do it for a while. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it but, it turned out to be a lot of fun. Also, a lot more work haha.
@@ReadySetResell yes it is fun and alot of work.
Wait aren't they supposed to be way overpriced?
Whenever I look they usually are. But, for some reason everyone was sleepin this day haha. So I picked two for $10 each.
👍✌😄
All the stuff you think about donating you should spend a couple hours and see what you could flip on whatnot!
Such a waste of time
My original plan was to do something like that. But I didn’t realize I had to be out of the units at a certain time. I thought I had all day.
I don't have the patience for storage units lol
I saw 999 likes and liked the video for exactly 1k on my screen, time to buy another unit
Tiktok must think we’re all stupid huh 😂
Yes, they'll make you stupid too. I avoid that nonsense.
These units here dont sell for anything below 400 dollars. Ten dollars? hmm maybe
