Well I check both (tying desk & travel bag) of my dubbing wax tubes, and discovered I have been doing it wrong. It these "simple" applications of materials and tying aids that make a huge difference in tying. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Al, have a question for you. I do needle felting with wool and sometimes with things like bird's feet etc. they need to have very little wool on them. Do you think that this product might work to help tack the wool to the wire? I use jeweler's wire usually around a 22 gauge wire... TYVM, Teri
Hi Teri, We have used the wax to attach dubbing to the wire but usually the wire gauge is 28 to 32. The only thing I can see about the size wire you are using is you might have to stroke the wax it from several directions to completely coat the wire. It's very important when using the wax to NOT apply it too thick - a little goes a long way. Good luck with your search for a "felting solution."
