A lot of people keep saying it was unlucky for some of the players to fight Leo in Losers so soon, or certain players made misinputs, and whatnot, but this is really downplaying just how amazing this tournament win was for Leo. This is the first major tournament with Joker's nerfs in effect, for one, which we can see has a huge impact on Joker's gameplay, but he still won. Getting utterly demolished early on by a player who isn't even in the top 8 (no shade to Prodigy- his match with Leo was INSANE and I hope we get to see a lot more of him) and getting sent to Losers so early, where he ends up having to face almost all of the best players in the world in succession. Samsora, Nairo, Tea, Zackray, Tweek, then 6-0ing Maister at GF... that is not a small accomplishment, especially after being so completely defeated earlier. Maybe he didn't play every match perfectly, but it's still one of his best victories in a major tournament, if not the best. I hope that maybe people will understand he wins by his own merit after seeing him make such a hard comeback at Fb even after the Joker nerfs.
The sheer passion and emotion that Nairo is playing with is admirable. He wants it so bad. In the playercam, you can clearly see him say "fuck" multiple times. Leo of course is an absolute animal, cool as a cucumber the whole set, only showing the slightest hint of nerves at the end of Game 2 with that careless dash attack. Huge props to both players, watching this live made my heart palpitate multiple times.
Its actually a bit poetic if you think about it, Nairo died to a misinput and lost the set, and his career died to his horribly stupid mistake, pretty fitting for his last tourney set

Yeah he missed so many kills thanks to the nerfs. Its really kind of sad. He even went for the dthrow confirms a few times only to be punished cause they simply didnt work

Those "nerfs" did not really hurt the character. She still kills, apparently she is not as light as everyone think she is considering she survived an Arsene empowered dash attack at 200%...I mean Palutena is cancer.

They took away one of her best confirms, now she only really got confirms out of nair > uair and fair/bair depending on if you RAR quick enough. Meanwhile jokers over here with his 30 different confirms (ok thats exaggerated but u get my point)
