Thanks mate , glad you enjoyed the vid, yeh great place and lovely fish in there, always a challenge fishing the lake for the first time , but my tactics and pre plan payed off , tight lines mate👍👍
Thanks for the comment mate, yes the ronnie rig just stays flat on bottom, while the corn just counter balances the boile above the hook, its worked countless times for me, had some big fish on that rig, but like you say stick to your preferred method that works for you , but that rig is worth a shout if your not catching , tight lines buddy
Yeh mate , the D rig is a good option, mix it up a bit, nice rig that one , theres a few good options on the table these days , to suit the situations you are faced with, I might try the D rig in my next video session , see what results it produces,
@@jenkospecimenhunter2199 thought u was supposed to pull the bait down onto the swivel and its blake not black and why is it 10 wraps everywhere also spodding u need to pick ur times better if there feedin in the evening spod an hr before not first thing
Haha cheers buddy, I assure you my spodding times are bang on, and yes if each lake has a nice spot to fish at 10 wraps , the rigs and getting places there, 👌👌 I do fish at different ranges tho , depending on the situation I'm faced with , and the approach I'm going to use, but healthy criticism is always welcome, the good thing about carp fishing is every session is different, and it's nice to be different!! 👍👍
It's good to mix it up buddy , dont be afraid too , although I do use sticky krill freezer alot on my sessions , theres always a go too bait for anglers to go to, when times get tough , but some good input there👌
@@jenkospecimenhunter2199 afraid of Using shelfies or changing bait every session . I buy in bulk(quality frozen bait not full of chemicals n flavour) and apply bait havin been doin this over 35 yrs .before u cud buy bait ready made . Or most of the stuff we use today . U ever fished fan lodge ?
Yes buying bulk is a nice way of saving those Penny's and also getting the bait exactly how you prefer , adding as you go on , I often do that too, I always come up with a game plan before these trips, bait wise , and try different approaches , experiment then go from there, find out how the fish feed and learn , each session is a learning curve I see it as , and take that knowledge on to the next one , by the time you know it , you have all these ideas you can use to your advantage 👍👍
