- Farid Ayaz ensemble performed for a private mehfil that I and few friends jointly organized in Karachi in April 2012. It was a spiritually uplifting performance that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. Besides myself, the other hosts included Sadia and Naseer Hasan (at whose residence we arranged it), Dr Nighat Khan, Baber Aktam Khokar, Maria Qureshi, Dewan Abdullah Farooqui, Mian Ahmed Hussain and Rizwan Qureshi.

With all due respect to the Great Ustad Farid and Ustad Abu, it is absolutely wrong and offensive to accredit this composition to Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar RA., this qalaam was written by Hazrat Usman e Harooni RA. Pir o Murshid of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Hindalwali. My best regards to you.
