Also, not many clubs would want Watkins for the price Villa demands at his age ( 29 ) plus the wages he would desire to move. Duran was signed for around 18 million and Watkins was signed for roughly 30 million so Duran has the biggest scope for profitability and cheaper wages to Chelsea and fits their strategy of buy young and sell in 5 years at higher price.
