they say Michael Keaton made sure they aren't doing CGI for this movie to bring back the old feel in some capacity. so this entire film is mostly practical effects just like the 90s.

Jenna is perfect for this. She has that Burtonesque quality about her. She's amazing as Wednesday and Burton loves working with people he likes and connects with. Match made in heaven.
I'm just tickled this is happening I'm literally like 12 again. This entire cast is stacked and Beetlejuice is a pop culture Icon that people of all ages know about. This will do numbers at the box office.

Didn't realize you loved Beetlejuice so much. They made it a Broadway musical, and if you can't get enough of Beetlejuice, you gotta look up the soundtrack, if not try to find a recording of the show (it stopped a few years back). It's the best movie-to-Broadway adaptation I know of. It has no business working as well as it does.
The fact that East Corinth, Vermont was used again as the real world location for the new BETTLEJUICE! The faithfulness towards recreating the Maitland house. Seeing Jenna Ortega riding her bicycle past Ms. Shannon's like Lydia did at the end of the original? C'mon!!!

I'd watch some retro reactions. I have an app on my phone that allows me to watch ALL the movies. Old movies, recently released movies, cam version movies such as "Ghost Busters: Frozen Empire" and "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire". I watched both movies yesterday in the privacy of my home. I think I'll watch the original "Beetlejuice" tonight just for old time sake. I haven't seen it in years.
The guy who plays Lydia’s dad won’t be in it because of an incident back in the early 2000’s. But it also looks like they killed him off anyway.

The actor I forget his name that played the father, got in trouble a while back and fled the country. I'm assuming that is the father that passed away. It would be interesting if they use AI deaging on Gena Davis and Alec Baldwin, if they make an appearance. Since ghost don't age. Obviously Alec Baldwin is in trouble now too. So he won't be in this. Unless they CGI him. Still looks good. Looking forward to seeing this.
