  • Sharjah Masters is regarded as one of the strongest Swiss chess tournaments held in the calendar year. Last year, a total of 78 Grandmasters above 2518 took part in the Masters. The event was won by Arjun Erigaisi, and D Gukesh finished third. The seventh edition has kickstarted from 14th May and will end on 23rd May 2024. Join us to follow the exciting games!

    So glad to see Nihal getting a full point 👍👍👍👍after three draws against players rated 100 points lower than him... Aravindh doing well, Arjun though had a shock defeat, won all the other 3.🙏

    Chithambaram was on the verge of defeat. He escaped to draw thanks to blunder by his opponent Tabatabei. A great and fortuitous escape for Chithambaram.
