Very informative, thanks for sharing your experience. Man if you'd put in video footage of all these camping places and actual sites, now that would have been a banger of a video. Anyway, thanks for making this one.
@@OverlandFlorida it’s all good Kevin Thank you for the Overland Adventures you share with all of us. It help me get motivated to go back to camping and wildlife photography
Little Talbot Island SP south of Amelia Island, River to Sea county park (the old Marineland campground), Faver-Dykes SP (north of Pellicer Creek, the one that runs by Princess Place Preserve), and Tomoka SP are just the ones we've camped at.
Yeah we Camped at Sebastian Inlet for a many of years even when the Northside of the Inlet had a few Cabins and it was called the Crows Nest. We have also Camped on the Southside and I have also Pitched a Tent on a few of the Island don`t know if it was legal but no one ever bothered me we have Camped at Long Point Park. Enjoyed it Kevin
😂 When you were talking about Ft Clinch State Park and said you couldn’t remember the name of the fort. Ima take a stab at Ft Clinch? 😂 Sorry dude had to bust your chops on that. Seriously though this is a good review for those of us looking for low budget camping and sightseeing on the Florida coast. Thank You
This video is very helpful video. I'm bikepacking all over Florida and I'm always on a hunt for campsites. Fort Clinch is in my neck of the woods. I'm in Jacksonville. Thanks for sharing the information, subbed 👍
Like many Florida State Campgrounds, Gamble Rogers takes reservations a year out. Chances of getting a beach side site are slim to none. If you are really lucky and get a site on the inland waterway side you can drive or walk over to beachside and spend the day.
Fort clinch does have beach and river camping sites. Beach side has some hook ups and some primitive. Someone has already mentioned but little talbot is exceptional for beach and creek access. Might also find beach spots at pepper tree private campground in St. Aug. used to be a Ranger up there. Thanks for all the Videos!!!
Thank God we have blm land here out west. Drive up to the Forrest, grab a spot in the shade and free camping for 14 days! San Diego plans getting worked out now for summer!! Timmy C Arizona

Thanks for watching. Good suggestion
Is there a west coast video?
No. Shired Island is about the only place to camp on the west coast.
Great video, we need one for the great coast now. Thanks for sharing
There’s honestly not much along the coast.
Kevin you forgot Little Talbot Island state park has camping across the street from the mai
n entrance
