      Hey! It's best to order those upper plates but in my case the parts wouldn't have been available for a few weeks so I decided to drill them. These are the drill bits I used. Hope this helps

    Where do you get the procedures for body panel replacement?

    • @AUTOBODYTECH
      @AUTOBODYTECH  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's called all data. You need to pay monthly

      @@AUTOBODYTECH thanks! I have a Sienna that was whacked hard on the rear driver side. Unibody is kinked just behind where suspension attaches. Drives fine, but not clear yet if repair is worthwhile

    These are awesome videos @AUTOBODYTECH quick question, for a DIY'r where could one go to get replacement floor panels, etc.. like you showed here? Can the average person go to Honda/Toyota and purchase these, or are they gonna say no because I'm not a business?

      @@kseries20-24only you can order any part you'd like at your local dealer parts department. It shouldn't be a problem

      Awesome! I'll have to give it a shot some day, I've got an 02 RSX similar damage to this I doubt they make those panels for anymore, have to find a donor car to cut apart for my first attempt.. :/ You just gained a subscriber!

      @kseries20-24only it's quite old, but you might get lucky, and they may have it available. Other than that, your other option could be asking a bodyshop if they can order you a salavged rear end from an 02 rsx. This way, you'll have everything you need for it plus extra

    How many hours did you get paid to do that whole job. I'm doing the exact same job now and this is a piss poor paying job

      Probably 30-40hours? Don't forget to get the mechanical time as well. Agreed for something like this.. it doesn't pay well. Have fun!!
