Super well built car only weak spot is the power window regulators. However there not that expensive to replace. If you have the 3.8 this car will last about 325k.

Also a weak point was the 3.6 in the CXS; if you aren’t absolutely religious with your oil changes (and ignore the Oil Life Monitor entirely and revert back to the traditional 3,000 mile oil change interval) it will stretch the timing chains and will require an engine out to replace them.

If you get one be sure the one you go with has the 3.8L V6 you can easily get 300,000 miles on them when taken care of..I own the cxL

Just bought one with the 3.8L, 95,000 miles, couldn't be happier with how it runs, only complaint is that neither of the key fobs work so I have to use the standard key to unlock it

I managed to find a 2005 one that's in almost new condition, a few months ago. It really is quiet. I can barely hear it running unless I open the windows. It's actually kind of unnerving because I might not hear if there was a problem. I actually like being able to hear the engine.
