Welcome to pvz: moon mode, OHIO 2 today we will complete *the final one* the hardest level in pvz history, requiring frame perfect cob cannon timing, and frame perfect ice shroom, etc,
Changes it would add: All zombies are invisible All plants are invisible Sun cost of all plant doubled No lawnmovers Zombies have double speed and health Plants will randomly be shuffled Random zombies will spawn on any tile All plants create graves on death Instakills can only bring zombies down to half of their current health Plant will shoot half as fast when there’s a zombie in the adjacent tile Plants have a chance to jam disabling them for a few seconds All zombies have a chance to respawn, this applies to respawned zombies as well Gargantuans throw gargantuans Increase gargantuan smash range by 2 tiles Zombies scale off of the number of plants on the lawn Restarting the level may cause the game to crash Exiting the game may cause your computer to crash Losing a level will permanently brick your device, encrypt your drive, reveal your ip address, location, name, gender, age, height, weight, bmi, blood type, id number, car plate, hair colour, mother’s name, father’s name, pet’s name, sibling names, cousin names, school teacher name, school name, brand of shirt you’re wearing, colour of shirt you’re wearing, water and electricity bill, shampoo brand, compass, heading, personal images.
The peashooter change is actually amazing game design though, since peashooter is essentially unchanged at the point of the game you usually would use it, but much more useful where it's otherwise completely obsolete and outclassed. The scaling damage over time is also a unique mechanic
Let's face it, the Torchlight zombies really traumatized us. It's good that they won't make an appearance here and were replaced with their harmless but just as dangerous brother
If I can say anything remotely positive about this mod so far is that it makes torchlight zombie in brutal mode ex look like a fair and enjoyable enemy to deal with every wave.
I have to say one thing - the assets in this mod look far better than most other ones. Using a literal letter for a head is unironically better than the jank we've seen previously with graveheads and the like.
I was kind of hoping this mod wouldn't just be "you have to get lucky with your spawns" and more, "carefully crafted levels with a definite way to clear them in mind"
Yeah these “hard” mods are not hard, they are punishing. Hard games make you have many tries until you eventually win while learning in the process, you think “maybe if I just choose sun shroom” or “maybe I need to plant my shooters earlier”.Punishing games make you lose by chance or retries take much too long without the easier difficulty. They also could just make you do the hardest things in the game without teaching you the mechanics. The mini games in brutal mod are very guilty of this because they don’t let you play easier versions to get aquatinted with the gimmick. @@SuperDestroyerFox I actually disagree, I feel that the gaming industry as a whole has evolved enough to the point where artificial difficulty through RNG can be considered bad game design. Many gaming experiences nowadays makes hard content where failing is YOUR fault and you could have done better whether is gearing, skill, or lack of knowledge. I am not against RNG either, I feel like the right amount of RNG could increase the skill celling because now you have to adapt. However, too much RNG just feels like rolling a dice with extra steps.

Zombie Variants Part 1 Letterhead Zombie - A zombie which has double the health and speed of a normal zombie. It’ll also ignore plants, and you probably will lose a lawn mover if not taken care of quickly. Flag Zombie - The flag zombie now starts to steal your sun. If you don’t kill the flag zombie quickly, you’ll lose lots of sun. Gramophone Zombie - It has the same health as a original cone head, but heals zombies around it in a. 3 x 5 tile area. It heals 100 HP every 6.5 seconds, and heals itself too. Strong plants can kill gramophone zombie quickly. Dancing Conehead Zombie - When killing this dancing conehead, 4 backup dancers appear, where the dancing cone head was killed. This is kind of like the dancing zombie in the original game. Pole Vaulting Zombie - This pole vaulting zombie works like in the original mode, but after jumping over a plant, a grave replaces it. Grave buster can take care of the graves, but is unlocked later on. Every grave is a additional zombie in the final wave, so if you don’t take care of pole vaulting zombies before they jump over a plant, there’s gonna be way more zombies in the final wave. Umbrella Leaf Buckethead Zombie - After killing this buckethead, a bungee zombie will come down, and will SPAWN a zombie. With some bad luck, gargantaurs can spawn from these bungee zombies. Pumpkin Zombie - This pumpkin zombie GIVES buckets to defenseless zombies. It can even give buckets to flag zombies and you’ll probably lose all your sun if that happens. It has infinite buckets also and can survive a potato mine attack if wearing a bucket. It can even give them selfs a bucket if they lose the current one they wore. They also heal zombies and them selfs just like Gramophone zombie. Newspaper Zombie - THE SECOND YOU DESTROY HIS NEWSPAPER, HE GOES FASTER THAN ANY ZOMBIE, AND OBLITERATES ANY PLANT IN HIS PATH. YOU WILL DEFINITELY LOSE A LAWN MOWER, AND IF A NEWSPAPER ZOMBIE GOES IN A LANE WHERE YOUR MISSING A LAWN MOWER, YOUR TOAST. Potato mines behind puffshrooms can destroy the newspaper, cause it can absorb a instakill, and you might be able to kill newspaper zombie. Screendoor Zombie - It’s a screendoor zombie, but deflects all straight attacks, which will actually damage your plants instead. Fume shrooms and catapults can still pierce it’s door. Tall Nut Holder Zombie - A screendoor zombie which has a Tall Nut, which deflects just like the screendoor, BUT cant be pierced unlike fume shrooms and catapults. Zombie Variants Part 2 FootBall Zombies - They have the health of a gargantuar, and can survive a insta kill, and magnet shroom will do nothing, and chomped does nothing also. If they are spammed, Hypno shrooms is the only insta kill to get the football zombie, and you get a hypnotized gargantuar basically Dancing Zombie - The dancing zombie now summons backup dancers the immediate second one is killed, cause the lawn to flood quickly. If you kill a backup dancer, the dancing zombies spawns 4 more. Pretty annoying, but if you let them summon 3 times, a AMBUSH of backup dancers come from the floor, causing the lawn to FLOOD MORE.
I gotta admire your tenacity. Even just from this first video, this already seems Kaizo-tier. I wouldn't touch something like this with a 10-foot pole, myself.

One thing I would do different is not making situations where you’re better off restarting than continuing, like having 3 modded newspaper zombies appear in the first minute of the level.

So, funny story Before I realized the official Touhou OSTs, I ripped 3 full albums of my favs onto my phone, being 11, 12 and 17. Because I have them on my phone I use some of them as alarms, Koishi theme in particular, but being the person to have 29 alarms in a 2-hour window, it’s more than her theme. 13:16, I genuinely had to do a double take because Murasa’s theme playing sounded exactly like one of my alarms going off, since I use her theme for some alarms. Thanks for the jumpscare and based music taste!

God this was painful but also hilarious to watch. The surprise behind each new variant is pretty refreshing, especially the surprise behind the buffed newspaper zombie.
Fact #1: Flag zombie is faster than browncoat/normal zombie Fact #2 Ladder zombie just doesn't ladder only pumpkins,it can also ladder tall-nut. Fact #3 Ice shrooms do the same damage as a pea.
I loved it that you put Touhou music in one of the parts in this video as Touhou is a difficult game and this mod is difficult, probably impossible for some.
First video I've seen of yours 10/10 solely for the use of Captain Murasa in a PvZ video. You have earned my respect and a sub for overcoming absolute hell cheese of a game and for good choice in music.

18:12 I'm pretty sure I can beat this with 600 hours on csgo, 540 hours on geometry dash, 240 hours on osu!, and 9k hours in minecraft (like half of it is 1.8.8 pvp)
The problem with me is I just need to try every mod in Pvz I find online especially harder ones I've beaten hard brutal and EX(except for squirrel that level is nigh undefeatable) and just looking at this one yeah time to fasten my seat belts this one is gonna be a longer ride than everything.

sadly, pvz1 mods are pretty limited and primitive, compared to pvz2 where people are changing most of the game.

So, funny story
Before I realized the official Touhou OSTs, I ripped 3 full albums of my favs onto my phone, being 11, 12 and 17. Because I have them on my phone I use some of them as alarms, Koishi theme in particular, but being the person to have 29 alarms in a 2-hour window, it’s more than her theme.
