You explain things so beautifully that even if we're not interested in the topic, we still start to follow and watch the program with curiosity. Great narration, as always.
Haha! I literally say that halfway through the video as I’m sitting back sipping coffee. ☕️ I think we’re safe mate. Our accents are WAY more adorable.
We still need you Pete! The main add was your interpretation and visual reference as they were explaining. I will save this and will be going back to it. Thanks !
Actually, what Apple should be doing is training their own AI models on all of their manuals so we could simply ask in natural language questions and it could then offer solutions without digging into thousands of pages of documentation.
Yeah, it was super interesting. I'm still somewhat on the fence when it comes to AI. It has some really cool features, but also uses a LOT of energy and can definitely push things in strange directions.
That was amazing, getting an audio podcast from a lengthy manual. What I actually have used chat gpt for is to ask how to do something specific in Logic Pro and getting a very specific step-by-step response. You do need a recent version of chat gpt or you might get a dated answer specific to an older version of Logic. I’m hoping once Apple is done rolling out their own AI that I get similar results from it.
Yeah, I’m still on the fence overall with all the AI stuff - mostly related to the incorrect info and energy use - but you can’t deny it’s pretty impressive!
Oh yeah! We were wondering when you were gonna try this one Pete. We had a subscription to Gemini Advanced as a test drive for a couple of months, but it turns out this one is cheaper (free 99) and does some of the same things pretty well. As you said, referencing that one source is helpful - perhaps it reduces the possibility of hallucinations if it doesn't have a huge pool of information it's trying to pull from. Maybe it would be fun to do an episode with the "chat" feature as you're producing so that when you have questions you can go back and reference it, see how accurate it is that way? Also... you DON'T know what Sculpture is?! How dare you 🫣🤣jk Thanks for the lols Pete. This was fun. @ 7:07 "TYTE!" 😆
Hi, I would like to connect my dynamic mic via interface, using an adapter to my iPhone 11. However the the adapter that I have has a c-type out, which means I would need another adapter to connect that c type to my iPhone lightning port. Any idea what adapter I can get?
Not quite sure what you’re asking sorry? Maybe ask over at the Create Record Release Facebook group at createrecordreleaae.com, or the Discord group here - studiolivetoday.com/discord.
Super interesting concept. Another useful application of LLMs, feed it the user guide and then have a chat-gpt style prompt that you can ask questions: “my bass sounds muffled in this mix even though the amplitude says it’s close to 0db, what can I do in Logic Pro for iPad to try to fix this” and then have the AI respond to you
Pretty cool! AI has some interesting applications. This was definitely something I haven’t seen before so thanks for the video. I’m having a little fun with the AI image generators. Who knows what’s next!!! 🤯
I’ve showed the Sten Splitter here - th-cam.com/video/_GoXL-mczVQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xTZATs0rDUxfYDqU Not sure what you’re referencing in the other one sorry? All my Logic videos are here. logicipad.com/.
Hey, can you make some video about update ios ipad pro m4 18.1. Becouse i see on update os. But i dont know i can update it or not. For now, i just update my os to 17.7.1
I would have expected and would prefer a direct explanation of features and procedures without the social chatter. One of the reasons I love Pete’s tutorials is that he gets straight to business with minimal fluff!
I like it because you’re interacting with it and fact checking it - probably wouldn’t listen to it by itself. And that part at the end where she tells him the next big song might be his, I thought “I hope not”. But if the overlords like to help me with my music, I will be their logic pro monkey lol.
Surely by uploading the Logic Pro for iPad, User guide to google note book LM AI you have broken copyright laws, plus by giving the AI all that information google AI can now write a software program that is exactly like Logic, again breaking copyright law! I like Apple but do believe they could give back more to their customers, there prices are to high, I wish I could afford an Apple iPad and Logic Pro. I bet when Apple finds out what you have done they will come down heavily on you. Just saying. Interesting video thought!
Yeah, so I did look in to last of those beforehand. NotebookLM don’t train their Gemini model on any data you upload per the terms of service, and Apple provide the user guide for public use. It’s such a grey area though I agree. Watch this space. If this video disappears, you’ll know why. 😀

Th aid so much my friend. Really appreciate your kind words and thanks for being part of the community.
Are you TRYING to put us out of business Pete?!?!
Such a cool idea and I’m genuinely surprised at how decent (ish) the results are!
Haha! I literally say that halfway through the video as I’m sitting back sipping coffee. ☕️

Thanks my friend. Yes, I find these interesting as conversation starters if nothing else.
13:30 amazing combination ai with you lol it actually works really well
Yeah. Pretty impressive actually isn't it?
Love the AI / logic content
It was an interesting combo.
Actually, what Apple should be doing is training their own AI models on all of their manuals so we could simply ask in natural language questions and it could then offer solutions without digging into thousands of pages of documentation.
You have captured the essence of the ultimate goal.
That would be cool. Maybe I need to build that in the meantime? 🤔
Great idea for a video and very interesting results

AI will be great when imbedded into logic pro or any daw and act as your sound engineer when all you have to do is paly just like in a pro studio.
Yeah. If we get to a point where it can fix 80% of the “normal” stuff and we get to add the 20% of human creativity that would be cool.
Got a kick out of this... So darn fun ! "And we're dancing in 68 time" 😂🤣😂
Haha. Yup. I’ll have to record the “AI” version.
This is utterly amazing! What a great idea to try this out. I think the result is very, very good! Nice that two voices are used! It's very life-like!
It’s pretty amazing isn’t it? A good use for this sort of thing.
I think they used the NPR interview style as the template, hook, line, and ringer…

Ooh! I like that idea. A true “co-pilot” for producing.

Wow! That’s a good idea too. So many possibilities.
Wow....Good Stuff!
🙏😎

Right? I have very mixed feelings. I definitely don’t want AI replacing human creativity but I think we are a long way from that. Maybe.
Now that get lucky reference 🔥🔥🔥🔥
😎🙏
Have you a video on stem cell separation? And have you done any video on artificial harmony on logic?

@PeteJohnsMusic thanks
Note AI is neat! I can make boring textbooks sound interesting. 😂
I agree. Especially if the AI is instructed to be sarcastic while producing the podcast lol.
@ Yes! 😂
Ooh! Now that would be fun. Maybe I need to train one in my voice then I can truly retire. 😀
@ That would be awesome! 😂
Unbelievable! Which AI app was used?
Ah, never skip the beginning.
Haha! Yup. Google Gemini.
Pretty wild.
It’s a little bit nuts isn’t it? Still don’t know exactly how I feel.
Mind blown!
🤯
That’s insane.
Pretty fun/scary yeah? 😎🙏
My thoughts are WOW 😳.
Yeah… I’m. It impressed by much in all this AI stuff. But this is solid.
I would have expected and would prefer a direct explanation of features and procedures without the social chatter. One of the reasons I love Pete’s tutorials is that he gets straight to business with minimal fluff!
Yeah, this style won’t be for everyone. There are indeed other similar platforms that are more straightforward.
knowing that its two people who dont exist talking to each other messes with me. like ghost robots.
Yup. You probably saw the expressions on my face. I felt the same mate!
I like it because you’re interacting with it and fact checking it - probably wouldn’t listen to it by itself. Haha! Gold Leela.
3:13 I hate this so much. We are in late stage humanity
I like this more than the more general generative stuff. But it won’t be for everyone. And I have mixed feelings.
