Thank you for reacting to this guys. Lots of brilliant stuff on the Abattoir Blues/ The Lyre of Orpheus double album, released back in 2004 This track, as you say a love song effectively, is fairly light and bubbly compared to Nick Cave's usual output. Heard together with the rest of the album it makes sense, on its own it does feel a bit lightweight I guess but I just love those chaotic flutes....!
