Not only are Daft Punk phenomenal musicians (what is it about France and great electronica?), they are also very clever. Their robot image not only is identifiable, it also makes sure that nobody bothers them as the people they are in their everyday life outside their music, giving them more space for their music. I love how they are in character even in the studio.
I still have hopes about meeting them some day. I got the idea of making a leather daft punk jacket for my dog as her Halloween costume back in 2015. Who knows how they'd react if they saw it. Some cast and crew members of "Invader Zim" have actually met her when I took her with me and she was wearing her GIR suit sweater I made her. And I also showed her Zoboomafoo sweater to the Kratt brothers when I got to meet them back in September 2016 after they performed "Wild Kratts Live."

Yeah, according to my grandmother from Shikoku. She has said France in general is very appealing to Japanese in Japan too, but English has more speakers. English is still something she struggles with accent wise even though she moved to HI in late 50s.
