You did more than capcom ever could for gb/gbc lol best they can do is cancel gba collection mega man mania and omit tons of battle network stuff even in the collection. Lol makes me wonder why xtreme 1 and 2 weren't in the Mega man x legacy collections as it's only 2 games.
@@MrVariant Megaman Xtreme 1 & 2 was like a pocket sized mashup of elements from MMX 1 & 2 with some small changes to the story and a few new characters. It's nothing to make a big scene about. It probably only exist to give capcom some ground to cover for the GBC, but you can do without it.

The name of the collection was going to be called MegaMan Mania. But something happened and it got cancelled. Damn I wanted this.

Maaan, this takes me back to when Capcom put out the Anniversary Collection and it was supposed to come to GBA. Blockbuster had the GBA box. I remember looking at the back of it and being blown away that they'd updated the games with color. I opted for the GC version instead, but I feel so sure that the cart was there to rent. Pretty unlikely since it apparently didn't see a release, but... ugh, this looks so good. Glad you had fun with it. Hope you plan to work on the others.

I remember spending hours playing this on my gameboy in 1995. The game design and soundtrack made it so fun to play. It was tough but not impossible for a 12 year old me to beat. Good memories!
I have a copy of this game, and... it's surprisingly good for it's length, even now. It's also one of the game carts that was supported by the Super Gameboy SNES cart, complete with a custom screen border and color palette. If you put it in a GBC or GBA, it will default to that custom Super Gameboy palette, too.
Played and beat this hack in one sitting yesterday and absolutely LOVED it! It's about time Mega Man World V got a complete GBC hack and the creator of it did an OUTSTANDING job!
I really hope some of these start getting custom carts! This game brings back so much nostalgia and is one of my favorite Mega Man's to date (such a shame a legit version is $100's of dollars) but would love a physical color version.

In mega man & bass (this game is canon, as the scene where doctor wily begs for mercy appears on 9) has a cd database, which contains info about the mega man killers, quint, and the stardroids. 2.said database says that slash man ( a bot from mega man 7) had his design inspired on pluto, which can be seen by their claws, and animal theme. (Observation: king mentions that he stole the robot master database on the intro stage, so the cds are in fact canon and not only random collectibles) 3.though there isn't any confirmation, the rocket fist from super adaptor may be the mega arm upgrade we seen on V. 4.tango makes an appearance on mega man 10.
Lifelong Megaman fanatic. Grew up during the NES era and never had a GB so didn’t get to play this game for the first time until I was in my 30’s. By far one of the best MM games. I’d put it up there with 4, 2, 3 and 10 as the best of the whole series. Seriously so amazed by your dedication and the beauty you added to this. I have to play this!

I'm sorry, MAD props to Marc Max, but the waterfalls in Venus's stage kind of look like bile. Otherwise, splendid color on this. Looks like a dream. Everybody's got their correct colors - Terra's even got his green hairdo!
Algo q note del 4 es a gráficamente se siente diferente al resto. Se ve como q más detallado algunos niveles, tal vez por eso es q se relentiza demasiado. Sin mencionar q tiene una de los mejores jefes finales con Willy dentro de su Megazord jajajaja.
I really wish they could have brought this game to the NES or the SNES as well instead of just keeping it on the Game Boy. It's one of the best Mega Man games in my opinion.

It would really make your life easier if you picked up the "MH" item sooner! That way, you could have grabbed enough P-chips for the "EB" item. Also, pay more attention for walls that can be busted through (Pluto) or rocks that can be picked up (Uranus).
this blue bot is so lonely at the credits when he stares at the sky. The presentation of the plot is somehow deeper than i thought it would be because of the dialogue boxes seldomly appears in previous games except Mega Man 4 Gb and Nes i guess

When are we gonna get a home brew or hack of this translated to NES!??! A physical one with complete art and box would be best like fans are doing with wily wars MM sequel wars
This looks great! I loved me some Megaman but the only thing that got more annoying over the iterations was the storylines. Killer robots are taking over we get it, let me just play!
When you begin the 2nd set of 4 stardroids, the stages will have those crystals placed in them somewhere. If you get all 4, you will get an item in Light Shop that will halve your weapon costs.

This is great. Just one piece of feedback, Venus’ weapon Bubble Bomb is supposed to turn Megaman yellow, not orange.

The Mega Man World games are considered a subseries but from what I know they are canon (Quint, the Stardroids, etc.)
