I bought this as well as the Bellroy Tokyo Work Bag. If you're looking for a messenger style bag, the Tokyo Work Bag has much more utility with more interior pockets for organization, a back panel pocket and a water bottle holder on the side. It's around $70 more expensive but the Tokyo Work Bag is just leagues more functional than the briefcase.
Pretty cool bag but I’ll stick with the system work bag for the double water bottle pockets. Also I like the way it opens without zippers since it makes reaching for items easy from the side.
I have a decent assortment of Bellroy bags, and the zippers seem to be a common pain point. Particularly on the City Pouch, but it's very odd that they don't sew down the ends. The dual zippers are usually a sense of security if one fails, you can leave it on that side and still zip the other one. With these reversed and opposing though, should one fail you're kind of screwed.
@@PackHacker2 fortunately, I've only witnessed it on others. Luggage, backpacks and gym bags. Usually it's with people who really stress the limits of the hardware and/or are rough with the mechanisms, but I'm a delicate little princess with everything and avoid that kind of torture testing.
Hi, thanks for a very informative and thorough review. I just have a question about the front of this bag, which looks wrinkly. Did yours wrinkle with use, or did it arrive like that? Thank you!
Finally the first review of this briefcase in TH-cam! I was waiting for this one for months. Thank you guys!
Thanks for watching! 😃

Thanks for sharing your insights, Paul 😃 Have you ever had that happen on a pack?

I bought mine. Had the same strong wrinkle. I just used a steamer on it. The material is somewhat crinkly.
Great review. I got this to use as a personal item on plane. Not my favourte bag.
Thanks for watching!

What was annoying with this bag and what's your favourite bag?
Are there any briefcase bags similar to this that will fit a full size mxkeys? It’s about a 17in long keyboard.
What about Tokyo work bag?
