NJMP Lightning Raceway Track Walk with Pro Driver Alex Sedgwick

On August 17 our drivers club members participated in a track walk around our 1.9 mile Lightning Raceway. This 10 corner circuit is fast and challenging, featuring some of the most interesting and dramatic corners and elevation changes in the park.
Pro driver Alex Sedgwick from PT Autosport lent his advice and tips to the members for how to approach certain turns with more accuracy and skill.
Alex currently races in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America in the #98 car for JDX Racing, in partnership with PT Autosport, this year he notably took first in the Porsche Motorsport North America at Watkins Glen International
Alex Sedgwick is a 25 year old racing driver from Warwickshire, England. He started racing in 2007 at the age of eight, and since then, has won a British karting Championship and competed at the international level across a range of single-make, open-wheel, endurance and NASCAR series.
Alongside his racing career, Alex has worked as a driver coach and driving specialist for private clients, race teams and major brands such as Ferrari, Rolls Royce and VW Group.
As a pro driver, Alex will interact with Drivers Club members in exclusive Q&A sessions, track walks, and at a special Happy Hour after on-track activity on Pro Driver Track Days!
