Hello, thanks for sharing your lovely city! While on a road trip from Victoria BC to San Diego, we stayed for a good few hours to see the Peanuts' creator - Charles M. Schulz museum and also to see the various filming locations for Shadow of a Doubt, Pollyanna, and others. We hope to return one day - loved Santa Rosa. Thanks again! :)
I´m a Big Bear Lake, California native who´s been teaching English in Rio de Janeiro for the past 16 years, and have just put my house up for sale so that I can go back to living in the US. I had never looked into Santa Rosa before but after seeing a few videos I´m pretty impressed with all the beautiful architecture, tall redwoods and, I must say, lots of good-looking women. So, I am wondering if there is enough of a foreign population for me to be able to teach English as a second language in this towns, since i´m not fond of living in big cities? If so, would you have any suggestions? Thanks...
In response to what you said toward the end of your video, I certainly appreciate your filming this, because for a time I had lost my ability to walk and I'm youngish; ha, but I truly appreciate the Wednesday Night Market! And as a matter of fact, I entertained there with my marionettes, shortly before my major reconstructive foot surgeries! In 2010, I performed on the corner of 4TH & "D" St.'s and have a lot of GREAT memories, but it is a lot of work setting up! I miss it and may return!
Thanks for posting! I'm planning on relocating there
