Yep, before Cartman became who he was in season 5, the first kid to ever get away with murder was indeed Wendy.
And it's not just that she killed someone, but it's how carefully planned it all was, exactly like Cartman in "Scott Tenorman Must Die".
All of these older episode reaction videos have sent me back to the beginning seasons every night before bed. Thank God for South Park and Futurama, because they were the greatest companions during high school. So many fuzzy nostalgia vibes. Thanks for the reaction, Dash!
old simpsons is good too
I remember staying up late to catch the latest episode as they initially aired here. I think it would come on at 11 or 12.
this guy gets all the references too its amazing
That idea is so great that you can bite my shiny metal ass
@@JA-gz6cjDash is that rare breed of reaction channels that actually adds to the material and creates new value without just basically profiting off of reuploading the original thing
‘Oh and Wendy I almost forgot, we just got a call in the office, your grandma just died’ 💀
My what an exciting day!
Chefs songs about making sweet love down by the fire were the best parts of the early seasons. The humour was more goofy and childish in the early seasons but Chef was always hilarious.
I wish they utilized Issac Hayes more. Smooth, hilarious and catchy
@@fanciabuttslam3379 You know he died in 2008, right?
"I've been licking this carpet for 3 hours and I still don't feel like a lesbian" 😂😂😂
but the carpet might ^^'
Cartman needed The Buffalo Gals to come in and show him how it's done
I don’t get it
@@user-hz5uz4pj7nit's funnier if you google "carpet licker" yourself.
@@user-hz5uz4pj7nit’s better if you don’t
The Barrelhead Brewhouse here in San Francisco serves a burger called the Wendy Testaburger. It's a 1/2 lb. ground chuck and brisket patty with cheddar, chili aioli, lettuce, tomato, and pickled onions on a house-made sicilian bun
Sounds good
No way
@@Jar0fMay0 It does sound good, but I haven't been able to convince myself to spend $16 (plus tax) to try it yet.
@@waterbeauty85$16 for a half pound burger and side is not a bad deal lol what do you mean
@@brettbatliner7452 It doesn't include a side. It's just the burger. I can make a good half pound burger dressed similarly for less than half the cost, and going out to Barrelhouse is more time consuming and less convenient for me, so it has to be a much better burger to make it worth spending sixteen bucks. It might actually be that good, but I've had some huge disappointment like the Wagyu burger at the Burger Bar across from Union Square.
By the way, Miss Ellen's name is satirical of Ellen Degeneres, who came out publicly less than a year before this episode aired.
Now I get why she’s so crazy
Wendy is seriously hardcore (as evidenced later on when Cartman kept mocking breast cancer).
Oh yeah 😂😂😂😂😂
This is such an underrated channel. One of the more intelligent reactors and one who adds so many helpful references! Re-watching SP with Dash is just a treat. 😄
9:47 "my mom said if you want to become a lesbian you have to lick carpet" 😂
In video game South Park: The Stick of Truth, you can go to Tom's Rhinoplasty and get face surgery called "The Hoff", IIRC it costs $175. There is even achievement "Face Hoff", where you have to defeat final boss while having the David Hasselhoff face.
One of the fun things about Wendy is that she like Cartmen is consistently good at getting their way in the end being very resourceful. Also S8 E11 Quest for ratings is great episode with all the boys acting like kids.
When they trippin balls🤣
“Chef, think, if you were Barbara Streisand; where would you be right now?”
“Hmmm….(looks at Tom’s Rhinoplasty)” 😂
i love how to take the time to show all these references.. sometimes i learn new stuff about episodes ive seen a hundred times
I was around 8-9 when the show came out. My parents thought it was just cartoons and friends' parents said it's a bad influence...but me and the friends i hung out with were already like south park in real life so we resonated.
Same 😂😂😊
Raisins from season seven is a great Butters episode
And it introduced the Goth kids
I told her don't ... f--k ... with ... Wendy ... testaburger.
Wendy can be scary when she wants to be. 😳
I love this episode.
this was the first episode i ever saw, i think it was around Halloween, 1997 and we had a TV in the barrack's common room and this is what was playing. I walked in and sat down just in time for the carpet licking scene and was like "OMG! I have to start watching this show!" Been hooked ever since
Fyi stans mom is the receptionist there
Great reaction, Dash, also thanks for putting my recommendation comment out of the five you chose for the beginning of the vid. Glad I found this channel and subscribed.
Again I thank you Dash. I don't know how many times I'v seen all of these episodes. It's just great to rewatch them with your added reactions. Keep up the great videos my friend!
9:50 He mispronounces "Indigo" as "Indiglo", like those watches that were popular in the 90s where you push a button to make the face light up. Cracks me up because I used to do the same thing as a kid.
10:00
Once again, they got in actress Toddy Waters (Georgi from Orgazmo and Polly Pry from Cannibal the Musical) to do the singing for the Indigo Girls in this episode.
I'm happy to another Dash Reacts video! Keep it up!
one of my favorite things about when mr garrison was the teacher in the early seasons is that all the teaching lessons were about popular actors and actresses lol
For sum reason the line that stuck out to me is when the woman said I'm in the book to Mr. Garrison after seeing his surgery. I wonder how many kids or teenager who would even know what she's talking about, it makes me feel old that I actually used to use the phone book before I had my first flip phone😅
You got me listening to Andy Gibb Shadow Dancing on endless loop right now lol such a catchy song
i used to watch this episode when i was younger, and i never understood the licking carpet or eating box part, but i always laughed at the birkenstocks
12:27
I wonder if that's the same Grandmother that Wendy lost to breast cancer in the episode "Breast Cancer Show Ever!"
Michael Knight also got his looks after surgery. Huge coincindence was that his evil twin brother looked exactly same except for beard and mustache of course.
Stan, run fast, run far.
Run to a different continent.
That is the only way you will be safe from psycho Wendy.
Wendy was given the reverse Dee treatment. She went from a batshit crazy girl to the normal "voice of reason".
You can't turn down a man with the confidence to be his own back up singer.
You put a tremendous amount of work into your reaction videos, with all of the inserts showing pop culture references. It's very impressive, and I really enjoy it. Keep up the good work!
i love your south park reaction clips buddy, you add every single reference they do in these episodes guy.. keep it up
I highly recommend season 15 episodes 7 & 8. I genuinely think that they would be in my top 10 best sp episodes ever. The episodes tackle the topic of depression extremely well and it shows that the creators can actually make well-developed, emotional stories.
3:14 Thank you so much for this! 😂
This was the first episode of South Park I ever saw and have been hooked since.
Aw I had to click this as soon as I saw it because i was sure you'd have something to say about David Hasslehoff. The earlier seasons can seem a little less fluid, but they are a nostalgia trip, and I did like the world building and character arcs they started.
The only thing I don’t like is the references, the modern show doesn’t reference stuff as much and thus is more immune being dated. These older episodes have references that are really obscure now and about people no one knows about
There’s a FULL version of “No Substitute” by Isaac Hayes, from the Chef Aid Album!
Also a full version of “Love Gravy” sang by Rick James and instrumentals by Ike Turner 😅
A week without a dash upload is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
As a child I met KIT at a car show. My world was shattered when I realized it wasn’t talking and was just a recording
Wasn't it the guy from quantum leap?
don't f**k with Wendy 😂
Always fun to see these old videos that take us back to where it all started. Thanks for the video as always Dash!
If possible, I would LOVE to see you react to Season 10, Episode 14: "Stanley's Cup".
It's one of the very best and really encapsulates everything great about South Park humor.
4:18 Has anybody notice that Token is not phased by the teacher's butt? 😂😂😂
He's probably seen bigger.🤣
it's these little details that make SP so good lol
Yeah all us longtime South Park fans remember “Don’t F with Wendy Testaburger!”
This video released 30 seconds ago
"II remmemmbrd themm juusinh a diffrennt Gibb tuun."
Dash my friend, I think by now I’ve seen about every one of your videos, lol. The look on your face sometimes is about funnier than the crap Cartman pulls, LMAO!!! 🤣🤣🤣
"You're Getting Old" and "Ass Burgers" are both some of my favorite SP episodes. The latter episode picks up where the former one left off, so basically it's part 2.
Lol i love it so much when cartman is like "damn, get down!" When Miss Ellen walks in 😂😂
That thing they do where they take a real life photo of a real person and paste it on an animated body and move it in stop motion. They stopped doing that after a few seasons and I MISS THAT!!! It was so good!
"Poor, schtinkj babj Wendy sqveakinns, tha chjuutness...adorabl vittl papj..."
Had to get a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday so another Dash upload is very much appreciated 🙏
Vanessa Williams and Toni Braxton.
Uhh yeah.
The least they could have done is said Natasha Henstridge instead of Pam.
Chef being his own backup singer.
I miss chef. Isaac was amazing.
Stan reminds me of the Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen. He throws up before EVERY game. Go Bills.
I love your vids man. I just let them play while I’m playing a game and iv prolly re watched every reaction a couple times😂😂
Wendy vs. Cartman was the battle of the two kids you don't f with!
(RIP Miss Allen, RIP Mister & Mrs. Tenorman)
You remembered who won that battle, right?
@@ronnierocha42 at least Cartman won his battles against kids from kindergarten and midgets ...
Cartman has killed more people
Man, you should check for season 2, episode 17 "gnomes". That's a meme episode, when memes weren't still a thing, lol.
Glad you're keeping up on the older episode progression as well 🙂
12:31 AHHHHHHHHHHHH! 😂😂
I love when they use real faces cause the eyes are always staring directly at you at all times.
With regards to Wendy's threats to Ms Ellen, I highly recommend the episode Raisins S07E14. It also introduces a certain set of characters and it is also a Butters episode, so it will be right up your alley.
im always so grateful for your uploads.
please keep up the good work
thanks for all you do
Man the slow zoom with the sword to kill Kenny gets me every time 😂😂
Dash upload = a great day! I'll enjoy this on my train ride home 😂
In Thailand they have their own brand of adult diapers called Certainty
lol Wendy was scary this episode 😂
'Raisins' is a good episode to watch one day
Hey Dash is it plausible for you to react to South Park Bigger Longer and uncut on June 30th to mark the movie’s 25th anniversary
Cartman clowning on Wendy for wanting to have a pretend cruise with Stan comes off a lot worse when we find out in later seasons what he does with Clyde Frog and Polly Prissypants 😳.
Not only is a a big jerk; he’s quite a hypocrite…
And Wendy isn't a big jerk and hypocrite or worse, for murdering an innocent woman and then go around acting like she is still a goody two-shoes innocent girl?
So like…did all of Wendy’s crazy just transfer to Cartman? Compared to later seasons, it’s like they switch roles and she started as the more unhinged one
You should react to S15 “You’re getting Old” and “Ass Burgers”, which are essentially two episodes back to back that follow the same storyline. Really good stuff
Wendy's song 3:53 sang by Legends from Tomorrow's Nora Darhk (Courtney Ford).
I think is the most beautiful from all songs from South Park.
Please do *_"S25E02 - The Big Fix"_* some day!
Can't wait for your reaction to this Token episode!
Great comments and explanings!
Man… season 1. I remember being a freshman in high school when these episodes were being aired. Channel 59 Comedy Central and like 10pm.
Remember the Richard Grieco reference from A Night at the Roxbury
Crazy idea but would be interesting funny to have a movie with both Kitt & Herbie. Like a race or something.
Kenny with the scrumptious sausage 💀
This was the first episode i ever saw, at that point id never laughed so much at a show
Stan getting treated to dinner by Ms. Ellen for scoring highest on the quiz reminds me of Michelle Pfeiffer taking a student to dinner in Dangerous Minds.
I love how you pick up on everything😂
Dash and DTV release a video within minutes of each other wow!
Wendy spent four seasons as the record holder for most evil South Park character before Cartman broke her record by tricking Scott Tenorman into eating his own parents.
Another fantastic Mr Garrison episode is Season 5 Episode 11: The Entity. It’s also the first appearance of Kyle’s cousin Kyle
Wendy was on Yandere mode
Dash always lightens my day
Great episode buddy love your reactions I don't know if you watched it yet but season 12 episode 13 high school musical is a very funny episode I highly recommend it 😂😂
One of the best songs of Chef in the entire show (may be after pig and elephant love song 😂)
This was really funny one. Keep them up! ❤
Wendy and Cartman have more in common than you’d think since Cartman also had people taken out for crossing him 🤣
You should check out the 25th Anniversary Special. Matt and Trey live at Red rocks performing all of their songs
Love your reactions! Your audio is a a bit quiet compared to the episode in this one, though.
It took me an embarrassingly long time as a kid to understand the "licking carpet to become a Lesbian" line 😂😂
Maybe if the teacher watched Scarface she would of known not to F with Wendy.
Mr. Garrison doesn't come out of the closet for almost another three years in November 2000 episode 4th Grade
Also apparently Stans mom works at toms rhinoplasty, they showed it in the South Park Movie
Love your uploads Dash
One of the best episodes ever.
