GRILLED LIZARD: Clean the lizards and remove the intestines. Wash with water and grill on a charcoal stove for 30 minutes. Serve with freshwater mangrove and ant salt.
ANT SALT: Mix and mash ant eggs, ants, chilli peppers, MSG, ginger and salt. Serve.

I love how sonny was as respectful as possible even when the other dude wasn’t liking the food at all and tried to make sure the chef didn’t feel disrespected. He’s always so respectful and so careful with how he treats the people and the culture around him, honestly admirable.

Because of the vietnam war,I have looked at vietnam in the light of bad people. I have come to realize that they just like me,only want to be left alone to live as they see fit. Thanks to this channel I have become more aware that people everywhere are alike in that they are basically good people. The governments of each people twist and skew world views of other countries. @@swada02 i think that's unfair, Sonny worked hard to get to the position he's in right now. Most people would've given up along the way. He might not have the specific college education that you'd associate with his work, but I think he's educated himself and that requires a lot of dedication and talent. I for one cannot be as good as he is in front of the camera.

Best ever channel I've watched on TH-cam. It's not only a food show but also the culture, tradition and humanity of the countries around the world.
I've been looking for authentic street and cultural food videos to take the edge off my travel woes during this pandemic. Some youtubers are quite good at cinematography and taste/texture descriptions; some are very bad indeed. This show is by far the best I've watched and I am now hooked and binge every chance I get. So much fun to watch and I learn a great deal. Great work!

I think it's a sleeping vulcano. And yes the soil around vulcano's is very nutricious. So people always grew stuff around vulcano's even working vulcano's.
Most dangerous though, are the landslides when the rain season comes...
And ofcourse if a vulcano would break out explosively, if you survive, you lost everything. Your home, you farmed crops....
